One advantage of reviewing these products is that I have been able to try all sorts of size combinations. The open cage type that you sent in your link is probably not going to cause a problem in urination, but I can see it posing some problems staying invisible under clothes. http://www.kinkyconsumer.com/image/bon4-bad-fit.htm shows my issue with a longer cage. Diameter should be enough to barely accommodate flaccid. Don't worry about pressure on the head from the end of the cage. If you are flaccid, your penis can retract an inch or more all by itself. If you want to try it out, you can get a cheap cage the right length on Amazon or DHGate.

However, I am not convinced that longer would be worst. In other words, medium is bad while short or long shoud be good, but long might be more confortable (in my opinion).
You bring up a good point. I never owned a cage that allowed me to have a full erection and I can see that being able to achieve a full erection with the inability to touch it or get yourself off would be frustrating.

The problem I would see for those of us wearing a device 24/7 is the comfort issue of having this huge cage stuffed in your pants.

It might just be interesting to purchase one of these to try out for around the house wear and a few T&D sessions.
Happily secured since 4/2010 :-)

DHgate A271 & 273, DHgate Full Stainless Steel Belt & DHgate HT nub
Currently wearing A273

In my experience (wearing a device for several days to fairly test it), the shorter devices are actually more comfortable. They don't get in the way and the length is not a problem if the cage is no more than 1/2 inch shorter than your flaccid penis. Diameter could be a problem. though I didn't have an issue until I start to get hard. Then I can feel the pressure. Of course, isn't that what we want?

ok, I want to try it shorter.
I will order from sculpteo a spacer, like this
http://tinyurl.com/l8rzef5
to put inside the head of crossfire cage. This will make it shorter, and has holes to allow urinating. If it works, then I can buy a shorter device later, but at least for testing is much more cheap.
So, if my length is between 90 and 110mm when flaccid, and the crossfire is 98mm, how much should the spacer be? Should I go down 2cm?
