My home-made device (30mm) feels like being gently pulled all the time but never enough to get aroused. Got quite tiring on 'horny' days.

The Steelheart (35mm) feels maddeningly inert until an erection happens. Much less connection with the penis than the tighter tube.

I would say I agree with Atone that going smaller length-wise and wider width-wise is the way to go. The way I see it, if the cock is going to get hard and has the room to grow (doesn't matter *where* that room is), it will just fill whatever space is available. That means if your tube is tight width-wise but you have some extra length, that's where your cock is going to go.

I would rather my cock fill up width-wise and get stopped by the smaller length of the tube rather than getting stopped by the width and filling out the rest of the length. It seems the former would go much farther in preventing the actual erection and therefore preventing night-pain, etc than the latter.

I bought a Lori a couple of years ago that was a perfect ID of a bit less than 32mm. It was tight regardless of whether I was flaccid or not, but the problem was the length of the tube. Even though Lori convinced me to go 1/4 inch smaller than I was going to go (and was trying to get me to go 1/2 inch smaller), the device was still made far too long, but IMO that has a lot to do with how the measuring is done over at Lori's tubes. It seemed fine when I first put it on, but as the day progressed and things settled in, it would slip down my shaft and pull on the piercing - even though the cage was very tight. But the real observation is that, even though I had a tight ID that seemed to fit perfectly, my cock got just as raging hard as it otherwise would have, but instead of filling the diameter of the tube, it filled the long tube length wise even though it was quite long. In the end, I could actually just "jack" the cage to orgasm thanks to the tightness of the ID - so it actually worked against me.

I've ordered a steelworxx revenge a few days ago with a slightly larger (35mm) ID and a much smaller length. We'll see how it goes I guess. Judging by some of the posts on this forum, it could be a while before I get to test it out.

Thanks to all for sharing their experience.

Chaste - I realize everyone's tube length will be unique, but just curious, what tube length did you go with? Did you choose a length in their standard range of offering or request something different?

I will be very interested in hearing your review of the revenge when you get it.

Thanks

I went with an overall length of 90mm, which is within their standard range. Actual length measurements I've taken over the past month or so have been between 100 and 110mm. I ended up going a bit smaller than my actual measurements for several reasons.

I'll definitely be sharing my experience with the device when I receive it. Dietmar says it will take 5-6 weeks, in case anyone was wondering.

I had previously this bruising issue. I think I got it solved. The 32mm tube diameter I have is not the cause, but a too tight A-ring. I had 40mm A-ring and switched to next bigger 44mm and no problems at all.
Other reason for some bruising is that the Bon4 has poor geometry. The tube is not lined with the A-ring. Actually the tube is bit higher than A-ring and so the top of the ring keeps pushing down.
Anyway, I have ordered new device from Steelworxx with 32mm tube and 40 and 42mm A-rings.

I am back in my 32mm steelheart tube as of last night. This time with a 41mm ring. I have never used this combo before. I really like the smaller tube. Not that I forgot but I just didn't remember as well. I am sure over the next couple of days I will be reminded why I got the larger tube.

Which steelworxx device did you get?

I have ordered CB-Zero. Can't wait Dietmar to have it made. Steelheart was the other cadidate. Well, I have just to wait and see how the CB-Zero turns out. There's very little posts commenting about this device on forum.

I believe that the CB-Zero model has one great aspect: that the penis can breathe better than any other steelworxx. Although (even if with a fake copy) I noticed that an open-style like that, can expose to more sensibility. Good luck for your device!

Currently i am locked in my first device, a CB2000 that has been on since January 1st. It's a lot larger in diameter than i am when flaccid which is 27 mm. The cage is closer to 40 mm so there is much more room than i need. When i wore the Fort device is was a nice fit because of a smaller diameter. (It wasn't stainless & gave me a rash, by the way) My wife & i recently ordered a Steelworxx Looker 01 that will be here in a couple of weeks. It will have a 30 mm diameter cage which should be nice & snug. i will be sure to follow up & let you know how 30 mm works out for me when it arrives. i am nervous about the smaller size, but can't wait.
Locked since January 15th, 2014.
