Well, the the poll will be closing soon. The number of voters tallied a total of 5 and all were middle of the road. The numbers were smaller than I had hoped to see. I expected the forum participants to be shewed towards lockie versus locker...so to speak. So if the numbers reveal anything....It looks like avatars that display nudity are an acceptable choice. Thanks to all those who contributed..

I still think that the real picture isn't shown by the polls. After reading more of everyone's opinions, especially the Keyholders I have to agree with CQ quoted below. And with Belle driving it home for me.

So - what is this forum for?

If you as members see it as a guys swop shop of ideas, hints and tips and occasional fiction then, I think we've created an open and supportive place where this takes place. If, however, this is also an area where women can ask chaste men nervous questions to try and understand their husband's journey then, in the main, this forum also works well If the ladies dont get put off as soon as they land on this site for the first time.

I must agree with almost everything CQ posted. At first I was put off by the number of images on CM. In a way they almost trivialize the posts to me. I have a hard time taking you serious when your avatar is a caged cock in frilly pink panties. Now I just ignore the avatars.

We have to wonder how the penis-centric avatars affect the first time female viewer who has just been sent here by her hubby/boyfriend/etc, or comes here looking for information on her own. In my opinion male chastity is a male driven and penis-aware kink but with the idea of the KH/Female becoming more empowered and driving the sex life of the locked man and the couple. With that in mind, I would tend to see the point of CQ's argument. Regardless of the basis or inoffensiveness I'll keep my caged penis where it belongs and off of other peoples computer screens.

Agreed. I could care less about it now. Yet when Jnuts and I found this forum at the beginning of our journey it was just starting out as well. What I liked about it was the fact that there was no "cock shots". CM turned me off, I don't think I ever posted there. The avatars DID make me uncomfortable and out of my element.

Chatelaine says pretty much the same as Tom & Belle (above) in that now we've taken the step into MC it isn't such a big deal but would have done me no favours if I'd been showing her these images last year.

Another point that she expressed is that it is highly unlikely that a female KH would consider that kind of representation appropriate for 'her' things and the excitement of 'getting your tackle out' was a uniquely male thrill.
