...I get Tom's frustration. Jessicacd's first post used an exact term that the rules suggest against. Not a way to get off on a good foot if one wanted to be part of an online community...they can't expect others to entertain them....Jessicacd could have joined the ongoing discussion on the same topic but with his very first post created a topic that has devolved into a discussion based on the appropriateness of a term he uses for his penis. I think that this is what the rules are designed to avoid....it is about how this forum is maintained (if I may be so bold).

There is another forum where those who desire to engage in role-play within the forum can go, and have their particular chosen roles catered to and be pandered in their assumed persona while in the forum. In another post I speculated about an apparent increase in the numbers of new members who seemed inclined to act as though they expected others to immerse themselves in *their* particular roles, and the reason for it.

A little bit of investigation this morning revealed that I wasn't far off the mark. That particular forum apparently had a 'blackout' (their term) and is now under new management/ownership. Some rules are apparently changing, and there was a message from the new owner regarding some (former?) members who would no longer be participating (for reasons that were not clear).

While current and former members of that site are certainly welcome to participate here, they should not expect members here to engage in their role-play as they may have been accustomed to on the other site. This site is *intentionally* NOT what the other one is/was, and the intention is for it to remain that way. What members here do in their private lives, how they act, and how much they might choose to reveal about those things is *their* business, but it is not their business to attempt to involve others in their private role-play or to engage in such role-play on the forum with other members.

We have a variety of members here, who enjoy a variety of styles of play from, mild to wild...but no members are obligated to condone or agree with any others' style of play, much less assume any obligation to participate in the style of play of another member or to assume a role that is sympathetic to it; and in order to preserve the 'flavor' and intent of the board, such behavior is discouraged.

The difference is that"Girly clit" is specific to sissy/TG fetishes, and the word cock is descriptive across the fetish spectrum. This is the only chastity forum that has not become a playground for online fetish play.

I have restrained myself by not describing my cock as I must per my wife's orders as, "that thing which is useless to women and so insignificant as to not have a name". I have shortened that to "TTWIUTWASIATMHAN". As I found out on another forum, those into chastity may be vanilla in all other sexual matters so I should not presume that they are OK with my other fetishes.

I actually do "get it." Apparently, though, what *you* don't get is that we try to run a forum in which our interactions are not "in character," but are on a more adult conversational level.

Hi jessicacd6, as you might have noticed, initially I came to your "defense" in this thread about how you want to refer to your body parts. But I now understand why Tom and others are opposed to it. They created this forum specifically to have things discussed in a way that they were comfortable with. The other chastity forums that they had been on in the past (most specifically Chastity Mansion) were full of people who used terms like "girl clitty" which the members who are now here, found off-putting.

So to have a safe place for them to discuss things without "creative" terms, they created these forums. And the link to the "rules" of these forums (which Tom posted a link to,) specifically explains that.

And just as I like having forums where I'm free to discuss things without judgment, I think it is good for them to have the same freedom and protection. Without having to defend it. That to me is the only "adult" and respectful way to handle it... when I am a guest of a community, I try to treat the other members with the kindness and respect that I would wish for myself. And if that means some terms or topics are not addressed here, then that is ok. I have enough other forums for those topics.
