I'm not locked 24/7 nearly as much as many here. That said, the strange thing is when I am locked overnight, as I was on Sunday night, I don't get overly painful erections. I do tend to wake, and they can be a bit uncomfortable. But I can only recall one that I would classify as truly painful. As long as I use a bit of lotion on the bottom of the ring, I seem to be okay. It may be partly due to the fact that my wife doen't leave me locked overnight all that often, so my balls get to hang free most nights, allowing them to recoup from any "wear and tear" from the day's lock-up. I'm thankful I don't get the real pain I've often read about here

To me, the biggest nuisance of those erections are the ring slipping. When I get up about 4 in the morning to use the bathroom, I have to also pull the scrotum back through so the ring is back in position close to the body. Does this also happen with metal devices?

The strange thing is that nocturnal erections used to pull on my balls a bit. Not as much as when I was in the CB-3000 or even the bigger jailbird but still some. Recently, in the last month or so, that has almost completely stopped. I will wake up with a nocturnal erection and my balls are still loose. I have no idea why but I really like it.

I think my skin in the area of the base ring has toughened up to the point no lubricant is required and the ring pretty much stays in place. Using a good quality Aveeno moisturizing lotion inside the cage after showering in the morning and at bedtime allows my cock to expand to the end of the CB 6000s which minimizes pulling the device away from my body. Guess I have finally "weathered" into this device. Time to look for the next one. After all, my birthday is just around the corner!!

Nope. I wish! It's just that I have gotten so used to the cage that I do not wake up with nocturnal erections anymore. However, last night, since I was allowed to be unlocked (only for the night) I woke up with my 4 AM erection. Kind of a nuisance, really, since it wasn't going to get any action.
