Is chastity a "kink" or a lifestyle?

This is a question that will never have a definitive answer. There are far too many variables with people as couples or single getting into it for all sorts of reasons.

My wife and I have been living with chastity so long that we don't see it as a kink anymore nor do we see it as a full on lifestyle.

It's just become something that's part of our lives. Not the sole focus by any means. We think of it more as a relationship enhancer now.

Well not sure what to call it and really does it have to have a label, I'm kept locked 24/7 and now feel strange when I am unlocked for anything other than pleasing my wife. If its just purely a kink then it has lasted over four years, most of this time has been 24/7 with the odd week let loose.

Then is "KINK" a shorter term activity, versus permanent chastity, 24/7 a lifestyle.

Its not about labelling it as either or, just the association between kink and living a chastity lifestyle is confusing, not that it matters as most of us are locked up 24/7 anyway... and I tend to agree that long term leans toward living a lifestyle... when asking my KH, she seems to think that we moving towards a WLM/FLR lifetsyle, and hence chastity forms part of this lifestyle change an permanent changes in our relationship take place...

... actually when I started to miss being in chastity, it definately became part of my life... and hence a lifestyle thing. I didn't think I would miss being in chastity, but after a night "out"... and craving to be back in chastity and actually missing my cage... it became more than just a game or kink, and espeially with my KH firmly instructing me to get back into chastity, there certainly was no doubt or hesitation in her voice, just matter of fact... "I want you back in chastity after you shower, and make sure you shave because you'll remain locked for a while..." made it all come "home"... chastity is here to stay and a permanent part of our life
