Slinky, I had the same issue. After ordering the oval side-side ring, I had the issue of slipping out on one side (too much room there) and extreme tightness at the bottom that was unbearable. Just a note on length. I would take lots of measurements over time as everyone has recommended, and then take the AVERAGE of those lengths. I went with the absolute smallest measurement over time - 2 inches, and now I have a device that I can't wear for more than a day... it just hurts. An extra 1/4...
