Shorter device for erections?

Post by fonetik2003 »

Yeah I heard somewhere that if your device is really short and restrictive, that morning wood will no longer be an issue. Is that true? I mean, the metal device that I'm about to buy is totally customizable and I was wondering if I should simply buy the one inch cage so that her cock will be all scrunched up in there. And just so you know, my measurements are two and a half inches while flaccid and five and a half inches while erect...

Hi fonetik2003 and all other readers,

i think the type of device is essential, not the length of the tube.

Regardless of the length of the tube, almost every non-full-belt device gave me pain, at least at night.

my thinking is that it is essential how any try of erection is controlled by a device, or suppressed, and how the pressure is absorbed. If it is pulling on the testicles, it might be painful. If any pressure is just hold back by a waist-band, for me it works and is bearable.

You cannot stop erections, especially at night. But if choosing the appropriate measures, suppression of them might not hurt to interrupt your sleep.

Chaste regards,

I think that is true but only to a limit. At some point there is not enough room to even get it on. If you are really 2 1/2 inches when flaccid then you probably shouldn't go much shorter than that. I have seen some recommend 1/4" shorter, I think Mature Metal recommends this but you should check with whoever is building your device for advice.

Also, it doesn't eliminate morning wood, it just makes it less uncomfortable. Now that I am in a proper fitting device I can hardly tell when I get a nocturnal erection. Some times I have to actually reach down and check to know for sure.

Agree. I found out the hard way that you must allow some growing room in your cage for it to be wearable long term. You can short the length or the diameter, but not both. When you attempt to erect in a device, it has to have someplace to go. Some of it will fill the cage, some will go back into your body, and the rest will push the device outward, which causes scrotum pain. I found the best compromise was not to subtract the 1/4 inch from the length and give it 1/8 to 1/4 inch "wiggle room" in the diameter. Having a little extra room in the cage diameter also allows for easier cleaning during the shower.

I think I'm gonna go with Wishful4 on this one. As it so happens, I'm pretty wide even while flaccid and as such, I'll probably need an inch and a half or so if this is to be done this way...

I agree with this also. I think MM agrees also. I had a question for MM when I was sizing for my cage diameter. The sizing ring was tight on the head but loose on the shaft itself. When I asked MM which size to use he said to go with the larger size, head size not the shaft size. I have around an 1/8" room and it is great for cleaning and comfort.

In the interest of clarity can you try to include a description of what measurement you are referring to?

It seems that this thread has started to discuss both length and diameter without being very specific as to which. I think you will be better served to include all the relavent measurements as they do all work together (or against) to create a proper fit. I would hate to see you spend the money for a custom device, or any device, and not get the best fit possible.

p.s. it is also quite possible that I am the only one that is confused in which case please ignore this it is still pretty early.

My wife and I have just started to talk about upgrading from the cb-6000s to metal. So I'm following this thread closely. I usually have 1/4" or less room lengthwise in my 6000s. I'm wondering if this means this would be a good length on a custom metal device? There are so many considerations on going with a custom device, it's a bit overwhelming!

and yes, that IS my beautiful hotwife wearing the key to my cb-6000s!

I meant an inch and a half diameter with but an inch in length. Sorry! My bad!

I don't think that would work out the way you think it would. You would end up with more of a cup (almost a saucer) rather than a tube. I have heard that that combination tends to end up with accidental pull outs.

I've never really thought about it before but I think all my devices are about twice as long as they are wide. As I went shorter, I also went narrower.
