Anyone using a CB6000(s) long term?

Post by wettie »

I just purchased a CB6000s, and intend to wear it for about 10 months. The denial of release is not my concern, I'm just worried that it's not going to be cut out if long term use. I understand that I will have to remove it periodically for cleaning, but how frequently will that be? Any other things I should know about ling term use?

The CBxxxx line are all decent devices if you follow some simple guidelines.

Clean them, then carefully glue them back with a gel superglue. Liquid will work, but the gel won't run all over, marring the finish.

Spend a couple of weeks testing for fit. Try different spacers and rings. Generally, larger rings are matched with smaller spacers.

Sand the hell out of the edges of the rings and cage. Then use a fine Scotchbite pad to smooth it out.

Avoid oil-based lubes, and use creams, like Gold Bond or Nivea. The lotions will be much easier to clean out in the shower; oils will trap dirt, sweat, urine, and bacteria.

Flush the tube at least twice a day (I do it morning in the shower, and at night before bed, and sometimes after I get home from work). Use warm water, or water with a mild, diluted soap mixture.

For the first month, remove it weekly for cleaning. After you've determined that there are no issues, you can try for longer periods.

Oh, and visit my page on this kind of thing:

Agree with Tom. Although I no longer have my CB6Ks, I think it could be worn long term as long as you stay ahead of the cleaning & hygiene issue. I posted several months ago about a special swab I found that cleaned the device very well. Paste this link in your browser, "http://www.chastityforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=223". It was a game changer for us. Shower in the morning and evening with liquid soap using the swab for cleaning. Lube the cage after showering with a long lasting moisturizing lotion such as Aveeno. Leave the base ring dry if you can. Come out for a KH supervised thorough cleaning once a week. Keep an eye out for any chafing or soreness.

Well, my CB6000s arrived today, and I've been in it for about 4 hours, not exactly long term yet, but it's working out well.

I posted about it (and the rest of my "experiment") over at [email protected]

Really just emphasising what is said above.

I've worn a CB3K in the past for long periods with just occasional KH allowed breaks, but the hygiene issue is more of a thing if you are uncut as you cannot easily clean under the foreskin whilst locked, so need to remove for a proper clean every 3 or 4 days.
Just 5 mins is enough to wash under your foreskin, but it does put a bit of extra pressure on your KH (as you may have to remind her), and then if she's watching it can take a while to get back in if you've been denied for a few weeks....:-)

The cleaning advise is very helpful, I am circumcised, so the cleaning issue so far seems to be pretty easy, I did order some of the swabs that were recommended, which I think will help, thanks for the recommendations.

I'm wondering about the moisturizer, I bought some today, but this seems about counter intuitive to me. Don't I want to keep moisture out of there as much as possible? Is introducing a moisturizer into that environment going to be a good idea, or wouldn't it eventually lead to rash and odor?

I was really back and forth between buying the CB6000 or CB6000s, and went with the 6000s because I figured a little reminder from the pressure might be nice, but I’ve still got breathing room in there. I’m about to pop on some porn and see how it reacts and if I can fill it…

Wettie,

The main thing the Aveeno moisturizer does is to allow your cock to move the entire length of the cage when it attempts to erect. That results in less pulling on the base ring, thus less chafing and burning sensation of the scrotum. This seemed to make a huge difference at night and made attempted erections almost enjoyable. Also, Aveeno does dry as the day goes along, so it doesn't seem to encourage bacteria growth like baby oil which stays moist. It may have an anti bacterial agent in it, I don't know. Just know it worked for me. Let us know how it goes for you.

I used the moisturizer last night. I had the device on for about 30 hours with the largest ring, and realized I could pull out, so I took it off, shaved and showered and tried the 3 ring. It fit fine, but after I fell asleep it felt like someone was using a lighter to slowly burn my scrotum off. I switched to the 4 and went back to sleep a little more comfortable. But I have noted that the moisturizer helps allow the ring to move around a little more and not rub as much, and it does allow my penis to fill the tube more, which is both good and bad. Before I used it when I was limp my penis was staying tiny, and was quite comfortable. Now it has expanded in the tube more and as a result swells out the air holes and sometimes out.the tip. This might also be because of the smaller ring.

I have read some of your blog and it is intersting. I think you might find some of the advice on the following link useful regarding low spousal desire. I think the woman does a good job explaining how most women simply do not function like most men. Most husbands know this much, but a lot of it can remain a mystery. Some of it sounds rather cold, but it was useful to me, and maybe it would be helpful to others: http://juliagrey.wordpress.com/introduction/

For anyone interested, I can verify that use of a urinal with a CB6000s is actually quite easy, although it would be a good idea to grab some tp first to wipe up.

It's actually kind of fun holding the lock to aim instead of your penis.
