Lock ruining panties

What tricks do you use to keep the brass lock from the chastity cage from rubbing a whole in your panties. So far all I have found that works is a couple small pieces of athletic tape put in a couple of layers but leaves a sticky mess.

Sand the edges and corners of the lock. Easy and effective.

Rubberband around the lock. Or you could try crotchless panties.

I use "Finger Condoms", like what printers use to prevent ink from getting on their fingers. You can get them just about anywhere, I get mine from Amazon for about $8 a gross.

Still having difficulty getting back into 24/7/365 chastity since covid. Very tender old man skin under the scrotum damages easily. Trying an HT Mk5 nub now. Love the fact you can’t pull out of it, hope my skin toughens up.

I have an integrated lock and have the same issue, I've tried a piece of plastic tubing split long ways and slid over the top of it, but it eventually breaks into.
And he wouldn't have any ideas for that?

I file down the edges and corners of my integral locks. I don't have any cages with padlocks.
