I got a slightly smaller ring at 47.5mm than my usual 50mm and it actually rides down less than the larger one.
It weighs 9 ounces, so you never forget you have it on.
Plastic is good, but this is the first cage I’ve felt I could wear very long-term.

Certainly if the A-ring size is too big any s/s device will slide down because of weight so the ring size becomes more important.
