Has anyone tried this model? The rings on the A274 had a square edge that would pinch my skin , but I am wondering if this newer model would eliminate that issue.

Wish they made that with none of the rings at all, just the cast head attaching direct to the A-ring. It’s just too big as a replacement for my nub.

Funny you should ask. I just purchased the one ring, with the round base ring version I'm wearing it now.

The finish of it is very good as Chinese devices go, the square edges are rounded off and smooth. My only problem is the opening is a bit too large and my head wants to poke through when trying to get erect.

Yea that opening is massive. My first long term cage had a large opening, but smaller than that. The head could get almost all the way through if motivated enough.

I can pop the entire glans through the opening when not erect but then the edges of the opening "bite" into the sides of the penis. That is enough discouragement for me to push everything back in. Once I try to get erect this does not happen at all. What I really like about the big opening is that I can get my foreskin (uncut) sorted out and hygiene is as easy as it can get in a cage. I have been locked in this for the last 14 days and I found it comfortable and I had no issues that my glans slipped through the opening unintentionally. As usual with these Chinese cages, get a decent lock! I also smoothed the edges of the lock with a Dremel, which made a huge difference while cycling and other activities.

I'm guessing that this is a cast stainless body, which probably adds to the weight.

Here is my personal experience with this cage. Of course this is all very subjective!

Since my last post here in October 2019, I am mostly locked in this cage with some trials here and there .

Practicality and build quality
From the very beginning, I felt very comfortable and secure in this cage. Since I am uncut with a long foreskin, I always struggle with pinching issues. With this cage, I can arrange the loose skin between the rings of the shaft behind the cast head section which cups and protects the exposed glans. The big opening at the tip makes hygiene fairly easy. Importantly, all of this can be done without unlocking.
The build quality of my device is very good, no sharp edges, nice diameters of the bars, smooth welds, and no pinching!

Aesthetics
My wife was always put off by the sight of my penis bulging between the bars of other cages because she thought it must be painful and unhealthy . She says this one looks oddly delicate and secure at the same time. This is in line with my experience wearing it. The cage is light weight for a steel device, barely noticeable during daily routines. Once I get aroused, it feels unyielding because there is no room to grow and no gap big enough to bulge through. This is comfortable, yet, effective in denying unsanctioned orgasms. Since my wife now likes what she sees, even when I try to get hard, we had our first tease and denial sessions. Her fingers and her tongue can brush my glans between the bars which feels insanely intense. So this is my highest praise for this device. Another note on aesthetics: the polished-steel-look also matches our handcuffs and legirons, which are totally required for these sessions .

Security
This will obviously depend on how it fits to your anatomy. I am using a 50 mm base ring which is comfortable while reasonably secure. It would take a serious effort to pull out, and I definitely could do it, but why would I want to...

Recommendation
Yes! If you are lucky and get along with the standard sizes, this one should be on your list. As an uncut male, this cage is the best when it comes to every day functionality, effectiveness, and aesthetics.
