Chinese PA device, piercing pinching

I'm currently wearing one of the attached PA devices with a 2g/6mm piercing. It is one of the most secure and best devices I have ever used, and also less than $20.

The one issue I have is that the piercing piece has a small amount of movement. It is enough that if any skin is pushing into the hole that the piercing piece goes through, then any movement of the piercing piece pinches a tiny chunk of skin. This happens very often.

I've been trying to figure out how to mitigate with a washer or other, and not had any great ideas. Anyone else using this device?
