Padlocks
Re: Padlocks
Hard to beat the old standby ABUS lock made from Stainless and brass. Never had a problem with them.

Re: Padlocks
I have found the old style brass Masterlocks to be the most reliable (admittedly, I haven't used ABUS).

Re: Padlocks
I agree with wishful4. The Abus lock has worked flawlessly for us with little maintenance for years.

Re: Padlocks
We've thought about trying this one. Not sure if it might be a bit too big. The key style may attract more queries. Mistress likes the thought of that.
Edit; apparently I forgot to put the link in.

Re: Padlocks
This is what we use...

The vinyl cover gets rid of sharp corners for both his and her comfort. It's not a sexy heart shape or shiny brass lock, but it has long-term functionality. I also use a rubber band around the post of the base ring to keep the lock from chattering—again, not sexy, but functional.

Re: Padlocks
When we first started using the ABUS lock, we quickly realized the corners and edges were too sharp. I took a fine file and eliminated every sharp edge I could find on the lock and my spouse has not complained since.
