HolyTrainer v2 when traveling

Post by Eludia »

Question for those who've traveled with the HT v2. I need to travel soon and don't want to risk wearing the HT through TSA - my key holder won't be with me.

You need the key to lock it on, which kind of defeats the purpose so to speak, if I have the key with me while I'm traveling.

Has anyone figured this one out? Pretty sure I can't put a locking tag through the key hole - I've tried that before.

I suppose I could bring a lock box with me, but again, might need to explain having that in a carry on. Anyone done this before and if so how did you handle it?

i am travelling internationally later in the year and usually wear a Contender. MsM had me modify Her old HT2 so that there is zero metal to be certain it will not set off security. i have found that a nylon zip tie (100mm x 2.5mm) will fit BUT the tube will swivel up to allow escape BUT by fitting a short (lock length) of plastic tube (i cut it off the plunger feed tube in a hand-wash pump bottle) in place of the lock and then feeding the zip tie through that and locking it tight holds the entire thing locked tight and can only be released by cutting. MsM has purchased some unusually coloured zip ties to use so i won't be able to cheat. ! If this explanation needs more just let me know and i'll put in some pics for you.

Still having difficulty getting back into 24/7/365 chastity since covid. Very tender old man skin under the scrotum damages easily. Trying an HT Mk5 nub now. Love the fact you can’t pull out of it, hope my skin toughens up.

I recently did some traveling with the HT2. While I didn't where it through TSA, I did put the lock in my pocket. Going through the precheck line, it didn't set off the metal detector. Granted, there is some variability in metal detectors but I also suspect there is more metal in the button on my pants.

I am not worried about getting through security. I'll just keep it in my bag until I get through. I wanted to be able to go to the bathroom put it back on and have some kind of tamper evident seal. I guess a lockbox for the keys is probably the only way to go.
