Tether Spout - what is it? does it work?

Hi I am on my way to getting locked. One big issue is that my penis is tiny, and when I simply put on a cock ring it turtles immediately, which kind of takes away the point of wearing a cage, besides being a bit wierd. I can't have a PA fitted because I did that before and a guy ripped it out during sex - so now there's just a huge piss slit. Cute, but useless. I might go for a reverse PA but that sounds very painful. I like pain, but... So I have been advised to check out the Tether Spout.
Here's my problem. The tetherspout.com website is completely crazy - disorganized, confusing, full of irrelevant stuff. Like a kid's party in full-swing. I cannot work out: 1) what actually is a tether spout? 2) how is it supposed to work? 3) does it actually work? 4) does it feel good? bad? any downsides? 5) how do I buy one - any measurements that I need to take?
Please some really basic simple 101 common sense answers would be good. (Ideally by Thursday or I get caned...)

There is a thread right here that has quite a bit of information on the subject. You will find answers to most of your questions in my Tethered Chastity blog. I also recently found a journal entry by another TetherSpout user on fetlife, that includes a couple of pictures of the device being worn...

I agree that the TetherSpout inventor/vendor website is not well constructed. On the other hand, I can vouch for the reliability/responsiveness of the vendor when it comes to the ordering/shipping and for the quality of his products.

I have heard of another prospective user with a failed PA, similar to what you describe. He hasn't written further since last October, but he was having issues with the spout+retainer popping out, even when using what seemed to be a properly sized retainer. My assumption (I'm not a medical professional though) is that such an injury is equivalent to a meatotomy and that the glans' ligament ring, which constitutes the urethra's inelastic restriction that the TetherSpout's retainer anchors onto, is compromised in that case. That may prevent the TetherSpout technology from working for you, I'm sorry to say.

I assume you are referring to a cage with urethral insert (such as the Steelworxx Looker). Some people report that they do make penis pull-out challenging (some say impossible) for them, but I doubt they reduce the turtling itself.
