I've read posts about numbing your cock and covering it with a condom to keep yourself from cumming during PIV. I was allowed to experiment once last week, and am glad that I did it that way rather than with my wife for the first time. We use Oragel, and she applies it to everything but the base. Then, she wraps tissue around before putting the condom on. This helps prevent any Oragel from getting on her. It is quite a mind bender to have sex with your wife and not feel a thing while she gets to have her orgasm.

We've used the liquid and the gel, and she uses a make up applicator to put it on. I have not had any problems staying erect for her, maybe because I'm always excited to be out of the cage.

Guys, we are all a bit different. And what works for some, might not work for others. Finding the balance between numb enough that you don't go limp, but don't get close to having an orgasm varies. For some men two normal condoms are enough to lose sensation and go limp. For other men, you can put 20 clothes pins on their nuts, slather the numbest of numbing creams and they're still going to stay rock hard.

It just varies, its the way we are. Just like some people like foot rubs and some back rubs, and some like peppermint gum, others spearmint... Try different things. Orajel is cheap. A pack of numbing condoms are cheap. Have fun with it.

For me, we found that orajel works best. It lasts longer than the numbing condoms (which she doesn't like the feel of anyway) and by applying different amounts she can play with the numbness I will get. And for me, the most important area to numb is definitely my glands. Numbing the shaft doesn't have much affect at all.

Important points from experience:
1) It does not numb you instantly. It can take a few minutes for it to have the numbing effect. It will wear off, how long that takes varies on what you use and how much of it you use. For me Orajel lasts about 10-30 minutes depending on how much she puts on.

2) Be mindful to make sure you don't get any numbing cream on your lady (unless she wants the denial too.) So I suggest using a regular condom over whatever you do (even over a numbing condom) and make sure you roll it all the way down so that it keeps any cream from sneaking out of the base of a numbing condom and onto your lady.
