When our new Jail Bird arrived recently, I was locked almost immediately and this gave me no opportunity to photograph the modifications I'd had done.

These mods were done to make the wearing of a PA more comfortable.

I have some experience of wearing a PA inside plastic devices and did not want to have to suffer the same cramped discomfort in the new JB.

Unless the PA has 'somewhere to go', it's going to get folded back inside the device and this can be not only uncomfortable, but painful, especially when the penis get's hard inside the cage.

I had William at MM cut away the bottom horizontal bar of the cage. The cut ends were then welded to the vertical bars. This created a long, vertical rectangular gap in the bars through which my PA could hang naturally.

William suggested that we might need to cut away the top horizontal bar as well as I sometimes wear quite large diameter PAs. To cater for this I asked him to weld the top horizontal bar to the upright bars but NOT to cut it.

This meant that at a later date should I need to remove this centre section of the top horizontal bar to create an even larger slot for a PA it could be done easily, and the welds would already be in place - I have the facility to cut stainless steel, but not to weld it.

The result works perfectly.

I wear a 5mm thickness PA most of the time, sometimes I wear a 6mm PA. Mostly the overall diameter of the ring is 16mm, but even my 19mm dia. rings drop comfortably through the gap created in the device now that the bottom bar has been cut.

I hope the pictures show the mods quite clearly. But please say if you need any more info.

I can definitely recommend this mod for PA wearers. With care, I can even change my PA ring while still in the cage. However there is just one small side effect.

The cage and the PA ring tend to act like a small bell and clapper and there is a just-audible chinking sound when I walk as the ring hits the cage. Mrs Ringo loves it. She can hear me coming and knows exactly where I am. I can hardly hear it at all.

This appears to be a great mod for people with PA's. Out of curiosity was this your idea originally to do this or William's

It was my idea.

I did suggest to William that he might offer this as a regular option. It is so simple and it really does work.

The cost for cutting and welding one bar was 40 US dollars. I do not think it necessary to have the top bar done.

This would defeat the purpose of the PA for me.

I cannot get out of the device, but by carefully pushing the PA partially though the slot in the cage I can just get the pliers onto the PA ring to open it.

Sometimes Mr Ringo likes to see a plain titanium ring, sometimes a rainbow or purple coloured ring. She particularly likes the pretty coloured ones set against the stainless steel cage.

For me the purpose of my PA is as decorative jewellery that feels good for me and and looks good for my wife (she loves it).

So what is your purpose in wearing the PA Atone?

Most of the guys on this forum use the PA to secure the penis in to the tube. Without some sort of piercing there is nothing keeping you from pulling the penis out even when the cage is locked to the ring.

no

yes

I have never pulled out but don't like knowing that I could. One time when I was not locked I tried pulling out of one of my devices. I could but it put enough pressure on my balls that all I wanted was to either be back in or have it off all the way. I don't think I could enjoy masturbating with the cage hanging off. With my smaller tubes it would be a real pain to get back in too but I am sure possible with enough work.

I don't know that I deserve a good spankin' but it sure would be nice :)

After talking with MM, they mentioned this modification to me for PA and cable use. Has anyone here tried this modification with a cable and is it bearable over the long term? I don't particularly like the look of the mod, but if it works, it works. Also, is it worth it to cut out this bar as opposed to securing the PA ring to the lower horizontal bar that is cut out in Ringo's picture?

I am wondering the same thing, because I am planning to get a PA and secure it just like that. Has anyone here tried that? Any issues I should be aware of?
