JB fitting issues

Post by HornyHutch »

I've had my JB a couple of days now, overall I'm happy with it but I am having a bit of a problem.
The base ring turns while I'm wearing it so the lock ends up at either the 3 or 9 o'clock position. There is also a little wriggle room in the padlock (not a massive amount). These 2 problems have been leading to a ball popping out which hasn't been massively uncomfortable, but its a pain in the arse trying to sort when I'm out and about and obviously means my JB isn't as secure as it should/could be.

Has anyone else had similar problems? How did you fix it?

Round ring or oval? I'd think an oval ring would help with rotation. The play in the lock might mean you need a slightly bigger lock... are you using the Master Lock?

I'm not an expert but maybe that would help? Also what size gap do you have? Perhaps you need a tighter gap? Or a slightly tighter ring, is it very easy to get one finger to the first knuckle?

Cheers for the reply Lady. Its an oval ring with a none MM supplied locked. I think I might need a smaller ring too as with the cage off (ring on) I can get 2 fingers under. I used the CB6000 rings as a guide as per advice from MM but I'm guessing that as the metal rings are more comfortable than the knock off CB rings I was used to I must actually need to go smaller.

Yeah I'd say a size lower at least if you can fit two fingers under. That could be most of the issue. The smaller lock will cause the jiggle in the cage and that is fixed by using the right size (does someone remember the lock size? I forget) or the security screw.

I'll say if you used the knock off rings the smoother steel ones may fit differently because they are rounded and the oval fits to the base of the shaft near the body a bit better (**for some).

Time to order a new ring I think. Although I've just had an email from MM, turns out I got the sizing wrong. The cage should be a snug fit, diameter wise. Mine has a bit of room for expansion.

That rotation is normal ... your caged dick, just like an uncaged dick, wants to lay towards one leg or the other....especially when you're clothed. I've had both oval and round rings...they both rotate. A more likely cause for ball popping through is a gap that's a bit large...you could send it back, or follow some instructions found on this site to carefully bend the stud downward slighly yourself.

Stick with the standard Masterlock...some of the knockoffs use a slighly narrower shaft, which contributes to the cage and basering not being kept in perfect alignment. The security screw, which I've also got, definitely keeps the whole unit rigid, but it will still rotate. Until the my gap was sufficiently reduced, I had a popout problem.

Once the gap was adjusted properly I went back to the lock because there's nothing worse than having Beth tell me, after a three month wait, that it's time for a ride...and then being denied because she's pissed I'm fumbling with the screw key too long. She likes the look of the lock better too, as well as the emotional impact of snapping it shut, and telling me to 'say goodbye to my cock, and hello to endless horniness'.
I'm not a gynecologist, but I'll take a very close look.

We have both options and my wife also prefers the padlock. Something about grabbing it, looking into my eyes, snapping it locked and saying "get use to it".
Happily secured since 4/2010 :-)

What a difference a lock makes! Bought a new lock yesterday morning and it seems to have sorted my problem. The device is now solid, the base ring does not turn and I haven't had a ball pop through since. Result!
