This question for everyone was prompted by something I read by "HeldForHer"

He wrote "what's the best wife-friendly term for it other than "thingy"?"

For me, no matter what device I'm in my wife/KH calls it her "Treasure Chest"

Mrs. Twisted seems to have gone from 'thingy' to 'your cage', as in "It's time you went back into your cage."

We aren't into the 'sissy' thing seen elsewhere, 'cage' has more of a feeling of caging a wild beast...which I can be at times.

We usually just refer to my state, either locked or unlocked. If my wife refers to the device she calls it the silver bullet.
