Does 1/8" really make a difference?
I recently purchased and received a CB6000 device, but I'm running into some problems with fitting. I've tried the stocking method, lots of lube, water based lube, silicone lube, and being totally flacid during insertion, but I tend to get this donut roll of skin behind where my penis is inserted into the tube. I don't think this is a length issue, but a girth one and I have been considering the purchase of a CB-Curve cage. Does anyone have this type of experience or know if that 1/8" really makes a difference?
Re: Does 1/8" really make a difference?
Don't rush the purchase of the curve. It is a lot bigger than the CB6000. I remember having a similar issue in the past with at least one of my devices. Honestly, it's been so long I don't remember which one or how I resolved it. I do know that I resolved it because the device I wear now is smaller than any of the others and don't have this issue.
Here are a couple of things you can try.
1) keep working with the stocking method
2) search for a thread where someone introduced a method using strips from a plastic bag. I did this for a while and it worked amazingly well. Better than the stocking method although more difficult to setup.
3) I used small craft sticks (like a mini popsicle stick) for a long time to push and prod things in place. Really helped with that extra skin.
4) Try using Q-tips. I use one every morning with a little hand lotion on it. Not so much to push things in place (although sometimes I do) but to moisturize the skin a little.
5) If you have a shower head on a hose try taking it off and using the stream of water to "flow" the skin in to the tube. Thumper has a video of this on his website. Search for cleaning or hygiene on his website and you should find it.
6) Concentrate on getting the skin on the bottom in the tube when putting it on. This is the hardest to try to fix after it is on.
7) Use the "turtle" method to get the tube on. There is a video of this somewhere. I know I mentioned it in a post once and someone offered up a link to it. I use this method almost all the time now. It doesn't always position everything in the tube the best but it works good for me and is quick and easy.
8) Give it a little time. Sometimes when I am lazy and don't get it right I just deal with it. Usually within a day or so it will mostly fix itself and then I use one of the steps above to finish getting it right.
Finally, to answer your actual question. Yes 1/8" could make all the difference. With my 32mm Steelheart I have to deal with this. With my 35mm Steelheart (that I don't like nearly as much) I don't. I just put that one on, wait until I am fully flaccid again and shake a couple of times and it just falls in to place.

Thanks Atone! I'll give these tips a shot. I'm still not 100% convinced that my cock will fit correctly but we'll give it a sporting chance! Thanks again! Cheers!

Also, I feel like I'm SUPER stuffed into my CB6000.... does this sound like justification enough to purchase a Curve?
Re: Does 1/8" really make a difference?
What is the longest you have tried to wear the CB6000? It can take a while for the excitement to go down and your body to acclimate. If you have only had very short attempts you might want to gradually increase the times and frequency. You don't want to over do it but you might need to push through a little too.bondageboy wrote:Thanks Atone! I'll give these tips a shot. Thus far I've made it around 12 or 14 hrs. Up until my KH wanted some service last night, everything was fine I.e. no pain, discoloration etc. I'm just concerned about proper fit and ventilation predominantly. My skin makes little flesh balloons out of the vent holes at the top...

I agree with Atone in that it can take some time for the "excitement" of wearing a CD to subside. When I wore my CB6000s and was aroused I too budged out the vent holes as well as the pee hole. I am a "grower" so when flaccid the CB6000s fit me just fine. As long as you are monitoring yourself and as you said, there is no pain or discoloration I would try it a bit longer and see if your body acclimates to the device.
And yes, 1/8" can make a big difference. It's why often we speak in millimeters vs inches.

Thanks locked4her55. I'm currently spending the day locked so we'll see how it goes
I still may purchase a curve if for no other reason than to have a looser and more snug CD. That could bring some additional variety right?

If that works for your budget, go for it. Took me several devices before I found the one I could wear 24/7. The curve wouldn't have worked for me in tight jeans but might have been fun to wear in the bedroom with an adventurous wife.bondageboy wrote:That could bring some additional variety right?

I've had this with the 3k. Once arousal ends and the [attempted] erection subsides, it goes back to normal.bondageboy wrote:Thus far I've made it around 12 or 14 hrs.
