Jailbird or Queens Keep?

So my Queen has instructed me to purchase a metal cage. I think I have it narrowed down to a Jailbird or a Queens Keep. Any advice on which one is better or what the differences are? I'm not seeing much info on their website. Please let me know what you think.

The MM Queen's Keep and the Jailbird are very common. The only difference is the flatbar stainless steel at the entrance to the cage on the QK versus round bar on the JB. IMHO, you will be very satisfied with whichever one you choose as long as you get the measurements correct and the right fit. On the downside, getting the right fit is no small task even with the guidance provided on this site and from MM. Definitely get the measuring kit from MM if you haven't already. Also, expect that it will take quite a while (as in weeks or months) to get used to wearing this device to the point you can wear it continuously. Having gone thru all of that, my opinion that MM CDs are amazing devices and my KH/Spouse agrees, as well.

I second what wishful4 wrote? I wasn't sure anything could beat my CB6000s. My MM Jailbird proved me wrong. It's so much better and very comfortable. Most times I truly forget I have it on. As wishful4 stated it will take time and maybe a few adjustments from MM before you become totally acclimated to the CD. For me they have the best product with the very best service.

I will say that I did manage to masturbate twice in my CB6000s. It wasn't a very comfortable or pleasurable experience. I think it was the friction caused from the skin rubbing against the plastic that caused the stimulation. This isn't so for me with the Jailbird. I believe I was more aroused when I wore the CB6000s.

Another bennie is my wife loves the look and feel of the stainless steel. She took on a renewed interest in MC.

Here is my experience. Based on where you are in the process, I think you might find it relevant. My Queens Keep came Sept. 12th. It fit so well and has been so comfortable, that I was able to hand over control right away. While it seems a bit strange, I put the times on and off in a spread sheet. For Sept. I had it on 358 hours, off 83 hours (over 81% of the time on). So far for Oct. I have had it off only twice for showers, 5.5 hours and 2 hours (98% on time). This is my first device, so I have no CB6000 experience. I read about how everyone wanted to move on to stainless, so I decided to start there. I just took the time to measure and read advice to get the numbers right. But I think I have one regret. I think the Jailird might have been better for cleaning reasons. I currently think I need to take it off for a shower about once a week. The round metal bars seem to allow enough water flow for cleaning, but the back ring on the QK does not seem to. After a week it seems to be coated with soap scum when I remove it. So soap gets in, but I'm not thinking I'm getting rinse water in there well enough (advice on this appreciated). So take the time to get the measurements right, and you might have something you can wear almost 24/7 very soon. And on the masturbation question, my opinion is that a MM stainless CD keeps you at your smallest...i.e. I doubt it will be possible for you like it was in the plastic CD where I'm presuming you had at least a little room to grow. But like I said, I don't have experience with anything but this one.

I wear a steelheart and regularly go much longer than a week, usually a month or more, and have no problem with soap build up.

I would attack this problem from both directions.

First, what kind and how much soap are you using? I use a dial anti-bacterial body wash. I think it is summer rain or something like that. I only use a very small amount, one "drop" in a squeeze type rinse bottle. That is enough to get good and soapy without having too much.

Second, how are you rinsing it? I wore a Jailbird for about a year so I know that is really easy to rinse. You would think that a steelheart would be difficult but in reality it is also pretty easy to rinse. With only two holes if you get water to go in you know it is going to flow through the device and out the other end. Enough water and it will get everything out. The Queens Keep doesn't have that advantage but a rinse bottle should get in there sufficiently. I had a Pet Trap that was similar in design and it was more difficult than the Jailbird or Steelheart but could still be cleaned.

I installed something like this http://www.amazon.com/Niagara-Earth-Mas ... hower+head in my shower. What an improvement over the standard fixed shower head or water bottle for flushing.

Oh, and by the way my wife and I decided on the Jailbird because it looked like the best CD for keeping clean. We weren’t disappointed.
