First impressions On or Off

While I wait for my Jailbird to arrive I have been pondering the following.

Given my wife is kind of been turned of chastity to a degree because of the icky state of my CB6K, however when she knows i am wearing it she does tend to take advantage of it insisting on massages amongst other things (so long as the icky thing does not touch her).

So given I had permission to buy a new device "if you have to" although if she knew the cost there is no way...lol...I would like some advice on how best to "show her" my new non icky device.

Should I show her the pristine device out of the box (although I want to wear it for a few days before I show her to to make sure its all good and I can actually wear it)....or should I show her once I am wearing it...ie with it on.

BTW I don't wax or shave down there, I do not think that waxing or shaving would do much to impress her, she would probably just think I am weirder than ever, and hairs don't bother me.

The same sort of thing happened to me with my CB6000s. I bought it without her knowledge, then laid it all on her with the device in hand. A mistake, I think. She initially went along with it until I had a problem keeping up with the cleaning and hygiene issue. That turned her off and it took a while to convince her that I had solved the cleaning problem. After that, we had a good run with it until after the holidays. We are on a break now due to some medical issues she is having. When she asked today what I wanted for my birthday a couple months from now, I told her I wanted a custom made chastity device that she likes better than my current one. I also asked if she would shop for one with me and she said she would. I think this is the best way. Involve her everystep of the way. If she helps with the shopping, sizing, and buying, I think she will be looking forward to its arrival and will be more invested in MC overall.

My wife didn't like the CB3000 at all. She was fine with locking me up (and has grown to like it a lot since) but the device was a bit weird. I just didn't make it obvious to her. It's not like I used to run around naked all the time before so I didn't then either. I kept my underwear on most of the time. This wasn't a big deal to me. I got what I wanted, she got what she wanted. Just because she didn't see it, didn't make her any less of a keyholder.

I wouldn't make too big of a deal about showing her the new device either. It will probably be a let down. You're excited about it, she isn't that interested. That is a combination that can cause a lot of stress. As a word of encouragement, my wife likes the jailbird a lot better than the CB3000 and while she still has no interest in the device itself she doesn't mind seeing it on me.

I like to shave my sac but don't very often anymore. It is very uncomfortable when it grows back in and when freshly saved my skin sticks together too much. The last time I shaved I was going to just trim a little but it felt so good I ended up shaving everything. I regretted it later.

My CB6000 has been modified a fair bit, i use the mid size ring with a KSD-G2 the largest one, the other smaller G2 do me damage and approximately a 3/4 inch spacer, tighter has me turning blue.

After talking with Mature metal their ring that is the same size as the CB6K is actually slightly larger than the internal circumference of the CB6K because the 6K ring is more oval. bearing this in mind and that the mid size ring on the 6K is slightly too large for me but the 1 5/8 ring on the 6K can be tolerated but is slightly too tight I ordered the 1 5/8 ring on the jailbird, that said nights are a bitch in the mid size ring on the 6K in any case, I am hoping the jailbird won't be too bad.

The cage length is a bit shorter than the 6K at 2 3/4, and the internal diameter is slightly smaller as well at 1 1/4, although I fill the inside of the 6K flaccid when the KSD is in place.

I have also ordered a few blunt pull out devices to hopefully simulate the KSD, but if they do not work satisfactorily I am going to adapt the KSD to fit (I already have how to do this in mind...hopefully a bit of plastic won't hurt). Security is never perfect but I would like to make escape as bigger deterrent as possible.

I know better than opening my gown and saying....ta da!!! lol....I guess I will have to pick my moment.

A word of advice to those with uncertain/reluctant partners: consider unlocking daily to clean. I know, I know, but if your partner isn't a piss fetishist, she DOESN'T WANT TO SMELL THAT. Believe!

You can keep from wanking long enough to practice decent hygiene. And, if not, it's worth it anyway! SRSLY!

One of the reasons that we will switch to the Gerecke Desire in the future is that the open design allows thorough cleaning without unlocking.

With the CB6000, there is no way of staying locked all day and my wife going anywhere near it.

PS my wife loves that I shave down there. I only have a patch of pubic hair about the width of the CB6000 basering, everything else is smooth.
And I also would recommend that you let her share in the process of ordering your new device.

I think any of cb-0000 products have to be removed daily to allow proper hygene as the smell is disgusting and no matter how I tried I could not wash away the smell with the device on.
We then tried a carrara concept belt and used every method I/we could think of to keep clean in it but after a days wear it had to be removed for cleaning or the smell became intolerable.
We moved on to the jailbird and have found that it is easy to keep clean and oudor free. I dont think every kh wants to be full on every day with chastity play so it is good that the chastised person can keep himself clean without the need to bother the kh.

I keep stressing that using water-based lotion in the tube is important because oils - even silicone oils - dont' flush out easily with water. I shower in the morning, making sure to get lots of soap in the tube, and at night I flush it out with a plastic squeeze bottle filled with warm water. Also, I don't eat asparagus.

The point is that once I learned the proper care, I don't have hygiene or odor issues.

Same here. While the wife does want me in a Jailbird because she likes the looks better, I'm staying in my CB6000s until Father's Day. She'll buy the Jailbird for me then.

In the meantime, I purchased a Water-pik shower head that works great. I shower twice each day, lots of soap in the cage, and a thorough rinse. Q-tips to apply lubricant to the inner cage (I use 100% silicone) and no hygiene problems. I do carry a squirt bottle in my briefcase if I want to clean up in the bathroom at work, but that isn't necessary very often.

I have to agree with Tom here, once you learn proper Hygiene with the CB6000 odor is not the problem, its purely an appearance thing, while cleaning and flushing with the CB6000 was never a issue, indeed even after 2 weeks wearing it I can remove it and barely smell anything.....one of the reasons I rejected the steelheart is because I could not see how I could keep myself clean...unless it was big enough to flush but then it would be too easy to escape from without a piercing

But what i can't do is maintain a pristine appearance, it always LOOKS dirty, the seam has yellowed, the lock looks cacky, the cable tie has gone dark on the bottom....its two years old ffs......and it is basically ugly
