This topic may be better suited for the Chastity Devices forum, but since it's not dealing with a Chastity Device per se, I decided to put it here.
I bought one of those MasterLock lock boxes (pictured). While we were getting ready for some fun last night, my wife was unable to open the box. She let me try, and I was also not able to open it. Well, to make a long story short, I tried again today, and lo and behold, it opened; just required an extra hard pull on the latch.
Anyway, just wanted to provide this warning that the latches on those boxes can be really tricky to open. Make sure you advise your KHs accordingly. ...kinda spoiled the moment for us

In principle, you're correct - I also think that's hot as hell (your avatar pic, for example). In practice however, since we use the security screw on the MM QK, the "key" is less than attractive for wearing around the neck. Also, and this is unfortunate, I don't think my wife/KH would like to wear the key around her neck.
If she would wear such a key, maybe will consider a different type of lock-box though. Perhaps (a homemade) one that is secured with a padlock and the torx bit for the security screw could be kept in this (padlocked) lock box. No combination for my KH to remember; and she could wear the key (for the padlock).
I remember using one of those boxes once to get in to a customer location. Not sure if it was that exact model but it looked very similar. There was a trick to it that if you didn't do it right it was difficult / impossible to either open or close. Sorry I cannot remember which or what the trick was but I know once I knew the trick it was very easy.

When we started this time I got one of those on Chatelaines suggestion but took it back as it was too bulky for her liking.
For me a keysafe adds to the WSD of this in that I have found the spare key on several occasions (never looked for it) and I could take the key off her in the heat of the moment any time I wanted. If it was in a properly fixed box then both of these things can't happen.
I'll also be the first to tell anyone that there is nothing hotter than seeing the only key that matters being toyed with by a strong willed woman.

Actually, I know wearing the key is not very practical. My wife rarely does. When we decided to order a custom device, one of the reasons I went with Steelworxx was their integrated lock. I wanted my wife to have a real key, and not a screwdriver. And I wanted something low profile, unlike a padlock.
Most of the time she carries the key in her purse and will do the same when the new device arrives.
