I quite like the idea and the submissive aspect, but the actual punishment does nothing for me. Whereas my wife loves applying a few slaps and acting out being dominant.
She keeps a running total of what I am due.

It's all right while it's playful, but soon wears thin. Especially as we are nudists and I don't really want to be marked.

So as a compromise it always ends up as just a few slaps with a broad paddle.
I forget where I read the idea, but I can earn a reduction, by doing my exercises in the gym. It's a great incentive to stay fit and we still get to play out the punishment.

Not on a public beach and anyway there are issues with metal in sunshine.
However some nudist friends do know, having slowly introduced the subject and watching out for them being freaked. We have done one show and tell.

Generally taking it off for the beach counts as being OK, because I'm under supervision.

This is going off topic (maybe it needs a new one), but one more post:

The reaction would be ridicule at best, but most likely hostility.

Nudists have enough problems being accepted, without handing the prudes more ammunition. It's important that we behave on public beaches no differently from anybody else. This includes not doing anything that would be seen as exhibitionism.
That's the way nudists get run off from beaches.

When nudists club together they often behave ultra vanilla.

This is why we like the more remote beaches in Spain. Being Spain strict etiquette still applies, but at least everybody is honest enough to have a good look and some ornamentation is acceptable.
However I think MC devices would freak nudists just as much as anybody else.

The only difference with nudist friends, is that a layer of inhibition is already gone.

It often comes as a surprise, but generally men don't get erections on nudist beaches.
Firstly it's well known that men can't do two things at once, which includes walking and having an erection. Also on a beach it just seems more natural than sexual.

Again at formal nudist gatherings, any sign of an erection would have you sent to the naughty step.
On a beach in Spain it's all down to etiquette.

An exhibitionist will be told that he is not welcome, in no uncertain terms. What's seen as natural is fine.

If for example, you are caught in shallow water, talking to a lovely Spanish woman, it's going to at least start to happen. Being Spanish she will then have a good look. The wife on the beach will be less impressed. (This is where we get back on topic)

If the woman's mother happens to be around, she will also give a critique of your body, not quite out of earshot.
