Don't actually have the issue of introducing it, although I guess the thread heading indicates that.
Actually I am kind of bummed off at USPS at the moment, its been more than two weeks now since it was sent and I just called our postal service and found out it took 11 days just to leave the USA, but it still has not arrived into AU for processing which means there is a plane with fu$%&ing awesum sized petrol tank on it to be still circling the globe 5 days later.
I was in a stainless steel shop this morning (for other reasons) and spied some stainless steel rings that happen to resemble stainless steel cock rings, at under AUD 2$ each what a steel!! (forgive the pun) considering the price u pay at adult stores for the same thing and call them cock rings, and the size is almost exactly the same one i ordered with the jailbird. I could not resist but buy some in various sizes
Seems pretty comfy and a good test...little bit tighter than the 6K, but now I just want the jailbird to arrive quicker...FFS if I had of known it would be 2 friggin + weeks I would of been prepared to pay more for shipping. At least I know I will be able to get it on when it gets here..lol.

Yay well it finally arrived.
First impressions well, it sort of what I expected and sort of not, and different to a 6K. The ring is slightly smaller than the test ring I had above. Comparing to the 6K the entry into the tube is kind of curved down whereas with the 6K its almost straight down, the old KSD snaps straight in there, except the slope too different to the 6K, I am not sure if i can modify it depends if the plastic is thermosoftening or setting type. It might not be necessary anyway as the base ring is a fair bit tighter
I think I have the sizes right though, perhaps the base ring is a bit small but the next size would definitely been too large, its only been on for 60 minutes and it is burning a bit but I don't have any lube and i get that with the 6K ring sometimes with no lube where the skin folds. The tube size was one size down from the 6K and completely flaccid it just touches the bars everywhere, possibly gone down one more size, but that might have been asking for trouble.
The finish is nice from the Mcnutts, would I build it any differently in any way? ...too early to say, but one thing I would change from the outset is to ensure the top of ANY device is smooth and free of sharpness so one can cuddle their loved ones without fear of spiking or jabbing, the jailbird/screw is definitely better than having a padlock there but I think the edge on the post and other edges could be smoothed down, indeed I will probably do this myself. The screw is ok, I think the head of it could be a bit smaller as the edge of the head is sharp and pokes up the side but its ok though, its a standard torx screw but as long as one makes sure there is none of that size in easy reach its secure enough
Can't see peeing being possible most of the time without intervention as the pee hole already seems to creep up and align exactly with the top bar but this might be helped by the anti pull out devices which i have not tried yet, looking at those though I prefer the "foot" of the KSD. One could easily (easy for mr mcnutt not for me) make a stainless steel version but given the way the anti pull out works on the jailbird, the foot would need to be made in two pieces, the stud screwing into the foot and once locked the stud could not be unscrewed....it might even be possible to make the foot slightly adjustable by adding some washers to push the foot down a bit.
The profile of it definitely seems smaller than the 6K and should end up being more comfortable under pants
Do I think the wife will like it?...I doubt it but I won't be showing her for a few more days and see how it breaks in. To be fair I have not looked in the mirror yet, but thats scary under any circumstances.
I am a bit apprehensive about spending a night in it, as such I am taking the screw driver than came with it home tonight. Will the wife notice I am wearing it...not a chance...lol Will the wife decide she wants to have sex tonight....even less chance as its only been a few days

Little things bother me like the oxidization on the inside under the locking post. It appears black, that is from excess heat during the welding process. I suspect that he only uses a mechanical method to remove that from the outside so it remains on the inside. It should probably be "pickled" (acid washed) and passivated. I doubt corrosion would ever be a problem but it still would be nice to have all the surfaces finished.
They could also be smoothed down a little. There are a couple of places on mine that could be "de-horned" a little but so far hasn't snagged on anything that I have noticed. The edge of the screw head is probably the sharpest bit. I would love to see a recessed option like I have seen on some others.
I hope (and suspect) that someday he improves his manufacturing process to allow for more consistency in the mating of the parts. I have several tubes from him and for the most part I have separate rings for each one. Some of them interchange but it is not a perfect fit (the gap changes) so I just bought new rings. It was less hassle.

Well last night was not very fun, I lost count of how many times it woke me, usually I will sleep for the first 4 hours then wake 3 or four times until morning, but last night it was like every hour so about 7 times. That said I have not been wearing for a month and it takes a few days to settle down, One thing I did notice though is even though the ring is smaller in diameter , it did allow things to subside much much quicker than the 6K ring.
OMG looking at myself during one of these episodes made me think I was in a Churros factory. Not really painful though...more annoying because I am buggered today from lack of good quality sleep.
Also interestingly I found peeing is actually really easy, even if there is a bar in the way it seems to just go around it and not spray every where which was a surprise. Also during a a hard one much easier to pee than a 6K, the 6K was always a worry if one was going to explode something or not.

With regard to your oval 1 5/8 inch base ring, would you please measure the exact vertical and horizontal inside diameter of the base ring and post them here next time you are unlocked??? I am thinking that the oval is probably 1/8 greater in width and 1/8 less in height than the stated size. Just wanted to confirm. Thanks!

I would measure it for you but its kinda hard to measure it when one is wearing it. But when I decide to take it off in a few more days, before putting it back on and showing the mrs I will measure it. Strange my wife has her period presently, and unlike most it seems she does not like me wearing during that time.
Gawd stuff me I am out of practice though, night two in this thing was as bad as the first night, its like its never not trying to get hard!!. The ring is just that much smaller than what I was used to on the 6K, but I am still convinced I chose correctly. If one had a PA of course there is no reason to have the base ring quite so tight, I would get one except for me the inconvenience of having a leaking penis is too great.
On the plus side, its SO EASY to clean, and so easy to pee and wear during the day, best of all I can't see the look of it changing from being shiny, looking back at the old 6K, i am almost ashamed it looks so poxy.

Well to bring closure to this thread I did show my wife this morning. It went pretty much as I expected, actually she did not say anything to be honest.
Pretty sure it will result in some cage time for me but not yet sure how it will pan out, but at least she did not say she hated it or throw a fit or even ask how much it cost.
