I had a similar problem with the 'popping out ball', but as Regular Joe says - with instructions from MM it is any easy fix to bend that post down a fraction. This closes the gap. But do follow the instructions.

More fitment issues. The cage hangs forward quite a lot, enough for me to easily pull out. With the cage pulled to my body the end of my cock sits against the end of the cage, so I think I've got the length right. Do I need a smaller base ring? Or is this due to the cage diameter not being as snug as it should be?

If the cage is slipping down your shaft away from your body, it's extremely likely, that you need a smaller base ring. When the base ring is right it usually hold the device closer to the body.

That rotation is normal ... your caged dick, just like an uncaged dick, wants to lay towards one leg or the other....especially when you're clothed. I've had both oval and round rings...they both rotate. A more likely cause for ball popping through is a gap that's a bit large...you could send it back, or follow some instructions found on this site to carefully bend the stud downward slighly yourself.

Stick with the standard Masterlock...some of the knockoffs use a slighly narrower shaft, which contributes to the cage and basering not being kept in perfect alignment. The security screw, which I've also got, definitely keeps the whole unit rigid, but it will still rotate. Until the my gap was sufficiently reduced, I had a popout problem.

Once the gap was adjusted properly I went back to the lock because there's nothing worse than having Beth tell me, after a three month wait, that it's time for a ride...and then being denied because she's pissed I'm fumbling with the screw key too long. The rotation is not normal. It is a fit issue. The metal ring doesn't have a lot of friction with the skin. As a result, if the ring is too big, or the gap is too wide, the device doesn't have enough "grip" to keep the ring in place. The dress left or right has nothing to do with it.
