Tom is right. Once I figured out "how" to keep the CB 6000s clean and how often to clean it, problem solved.

Well, I can't disagree. Plus, I have odd marks from spilling superglue, and I haven't figured out a way to buff the polycarbonate back to clear. I didn't like the yellowing epoxy on the top vent holes, so I removed them and used clear silicone sealant (aquarium grade). My lock is covered with black plastic tubing to keep the noise down. And actually, I'm on my *second* 3k - the first has been experimented on so much that it's only good for emergencies.

One of these days we'll see transparent titanium, and then...

Well, I do fill the CB6000 completely in width and length, so there is no way to get water through between the cage and my penis. The only thing I can do is rinse a little from the tip to get rid of urine residue. The "venting holes" serve only as some kind of pattern imprint on my penis.

So, even if I would sleep with the device on, my wife would demand removal for bath or shower.

I have the problem of filling the CB6000s when cleaning. I use the foam pads and rinse bottle that http://www.keptforher.com/cleaning.html sells. I start off by a general cleaning of the crotch area and rinse everything off with cups of water. I then use a foam pad with antibacterial liquid soap and it will slide in from the end with no problem. Moving the pad around gets everything real soapy inside. Apply more soap as needed. I then move the pad inside from the body side of the tube and swab again. Inserting the bottle tip from the end of the tube, with the bottles tip pointed at the tube, it will slide in without pinching the skin. Push the penis down with the tip and start squirting. All of the soap will come out. After I do this with the first bottle I use a rinsed foam pad and work around inside to make sure any soap left is loosened. Then I repeat with a second bottle of rinse water. While moving the foam pad inside sometimes I will get an erection and I am still able to complete the cleaning. Then I place a hair dryer laying on the edge of the sink on low. I slip a Q-Tip inside in a rolling motion and push the penis away from the cage and dry everything inside. Be careful when starting to do this and be aware of the heat. I have been able to keep everything clean and smelling good with this routine. :D
A small modification I had to make on the bottle. The tip on mine put out a fine, small stream of water and didn’t work well. I clipped a small amount off the end to make the opening bigger and it put out a better flow for rinsing. Make sure the end is REAL smooth after clipping.

lol at thread side tracking into a how to keep non cacky and clean thread...

I am still waiting for my metal device to arrive, and still wondering how I should first show her....with it on me or off me, I am inclined to think I should have it on....but not make a big deal of it, ask her if she wants a look at my new one..lol. Its not like the first time or anything, I think she will probably be disinterested in any case. But if i hold it in my hand its going to be a lot more in her face....her face most definitely won't be anywhere near it when its on...lol

Sorry about the threadjack. ;-) I think this is one of those questions where you know the answer better than anyone else could, because we don't know her as well as you do. I would say, choose your moment - some time when she's relaxed and you are having good interactions already.

Congrats on moving to metal! In my opinion, the metal devices are so much nicer aesthetically.

Whenever I get a new device I just let my wife know and then ask her to unlock me so I can put it on. If she wants to see it she will tell you, if not just put it on and give her the key back.

Still waiting for it to arrive, Finalized order on 8th of Feb, shipped on 23rd Feb, I guess its got to come across the deep blue sea. Kind of would have thought it would have been here by now, but it looks like they sent it standard registered airmail, sadly our AU post tracking system still shows no entries as to its progress, but on the US site it only says accepted with no other update.

I have decided to try it out for a few days to make sure i can wear it, then at the appropriate time tell her I have a new key to my new non cacky device (which will actually be the torx driver..), I am pretty sure she be a bit curious if I ask if she wants a look....

I have not been wearing lately in anticipation of the arrival of my new device, strangely nor do I feel like wearing it presently, as my wife and I had a bit of a bumpy patch with regard to intimate relations the last few weeks. As we all know once you ARE wearing...it sort of grows on you. I am a little bit anxious either way when it does arrive, she might either totally ignore it, or she might like it and not let me out for too long. Steel is a lot more final and appears a lot more inescapable, it could go either way, but so far I have yet to see someone of the fairer sex like metal LESS than plastic......but.....there is always a first time.

I introduce the idea to my girlfriend one night when we were watching TV. She did seem to like the idea. I then order a CB6k.
And I pop over her place with the device on and handle her the key. The first reaction was really negative. I had to took it off
She's now the one who lock me in with a big smile.

I don't know how you guys doing for the cleaning because when I wear it there is NO space between me and cage to pour any water. And on the top of it, the shower head is fix. No way to use the pressure to clean it up.
So I'm free daily for hygiene purpuses
