Happily caged.

Post by Happily caged »

Hi all, first post here.

I am relatively new to chastity cages and am currently locked into a CB6000, though a Jail Bird from Mature Metal will soon be on its way.
At the moment the keys to the cage itself are always with the Keyholder, though once I switch to the Jail Bird, we will be locking the keys to the Jail Bird in a portable security box which will stay with me, and she will keep the keys to the security box. Owing to our work, she will be moving to Hong Kong in late January and I will be able to join her not before a year. I learnt of chastity cages only in the last few months. She trusts me, but for whatever reason, I thought doing this might give her piece of mind or more likely (since she likely will have that without the cage anyway) a symbolic expression of love and commitment on my part (as corny as it might sound, crazy ideas we men get, eh).
She had reacted indifferently to the idea initially, though she seems to have warmed to the idea somewhat (she even had the courage to deny me once already unless I pleased her first :D) Of course if she did not want to keep the keys, I would happily have kept them with me, but it means something to me that she accepted to hold them.
Anyway, here's me introduction. I'm sure I will learn a lot from you over time.

You really do not need a security box. We use a serially numbered plastic lock to attach the key to a shelf in our pantry. I would have to break the lock to use the key. My wife can check the serial number to the key. You can do the same and send her a dated photo to show the key has not been used. You need an emergency key. I have had to use my twice. Once when I got a kidney stone attack suddenly and was rushed by ambulance to the emergency room and another time when my balls started burning real bad.

My wife does not supervise me much because my word is my bond. I will not masturbate if I am not locked up, even if for a few weeks. I asked to be locked so why would I want to cheat myself? As my wife says, if I want to cheat than I really am not serious about chastity and more interested in trying to deceive her. She makes a good point.

BTW, I used to spend a third of each year in Hong Kong, more accurately, Kowloon. I had an office there. This was back in the late 80's. I loved it and had all of my clothes made there. Not by the cheap tailors that the tourist go to but by top shelf tailors. I also had a few offices in Italy and what is funny is that the guys in HK go to Italy for their suits and the guys in Italy go to HK.

Thanks Len51,

I have reconsidered the security box business. She couldn't care less: she trusts me, do it's more for my own fun or kink I think. We still have some time so will keep your advice and others' in mind. Sounds cheaper too.

Question though: how difficult or dangerous would it really be to cut the locks in a medical emergency? I have never needed bolt cutters before.

Don't worry about the little locks like on the cages, they can be removed in a matter of seconds in the ER. Security screws take just a little bit longer... but it's not like they will try "not" to damage the device, it will removed the fastest way possible.
My Wife / KH spends a lot of time in Thailand while I remain home, and she's happy to leave an emergency key hidden, just in case. We are in contact a lot of the time she's there, either Skype, FB., E-mail and Yahoo messenger. It's easy for her to check that I'm wearing the device... even our home security system of cams can be watched from her location in Thailand if she wants to check.

Happy New Year to you too, 1Mlocked up.
She had even suggested at one point that I leave the keys at home (no security at all, free for use at any time) and I wear the cage only when I am out. She appreciated that I wanted her to make the keys at least somewhat inaccessible from me but I think the difference is that while I am attracted to the lifestyle side of it, she is more attracted to the gaming side of it. The good news is that she is open to the lifestyle side if it and I am happy with her relative indifference to it, so it works out well and we are both happy with it.
I just present the lifestyle side if it to her as a game and it works well.
