Hygene & skin issues in a JB longterm

Post by lockednut »

Hi. I ve been locked in mm Jailbird for about 3 weeks now. Its my first extended lockup in the JB having moved from a cb 6000s. Ive found it very comfortable and much easier to clean so we tried 3 weeks without taking it off at all. When we did remove it I noticed that the underside of my penis and the top or front of my scrotum had a lot of dead skin built up with a lot of flaking and the beginnings of an itchy irritation (possibly fungal). It was mended by a couple of days out of the cage but I was wondering how long termers deal with this issue without pulling out or removing the cage fir cleaning. My KH wants to be able to leave me in there for long periods, weeks at least, between removals as we don't always live together due to work and family commitments.

I reckon the issue is how to get into that bit between cock and balls to clean it and dry it. Any ideas anyone?

In my Queen's Keep, I used to slide a soapy washcloth between my penis and scrotum then pull it back and forth. I also had some long handled foam cleaning swabs that I would soap up and clean inside the cage. After drying off, I would put a dab of Aveeno moisturizing lotion in the area. That pretty much kept everything clean and healthy.

A shower massage or waterpik device can help force water into all those small places.

Also, they sell a bulb device for cleaning baby's ears (blue textured plastic) that is GREAT for forcing jets of soapy water into the crevices without removing the device.

Consider drying yourself with a hairdryer to make sure there is no lingering moisture growing fungus too!

I wear a QK, but it's about the same.

I use a wash rag to get where I can and take time to get between the cage and the front of my balls. It seems to stay damp in there. And about every other day I use a q-tip to clean inside the cage.

Otherwise, I just use a little lotion at the base of the head and a little underneath the base ring at the bottom.

Fortunately or .......unfortunately, it can be worn a lot longer than three weeks.

Definitely find some way such as some of the ways mentioned here to clean up and then get dry with a hairdryer afterward. I wear a CB6000S long term and other devices before that.

Another good option is to soak in a warm bath. I think our society has become too enamored of showers :) After the both get dry and get some lotion in there as well.

The hair dryer suggestion made me imagine a Car Auto Wash style automated machine you'd stick your caged self into. Tri-color foam, sealer wax, dancing water jets, floppy scrubbers, under-carriage spray, forced hot air drying... all in a plexiglass case. Now you're shiny and clean in your polished device.

Kickstarter? (Kinkstarter?!)

On topic: Those are good suggestions up there. I developed only the one red spot on the underside of the shaft where it meets the testicles. But very similar, except no itching or flaking though... everyone's skin is different though. Also, I was only locked for a week. It subsided after a day freely swinging.

I was thinking it might be excess moisture in that fold between the shaft and sack, and then I saw this post. Everything else seems to dry quickly. I need to watch that when I get back in.

I've been in my JB for months. My shower massager and some liquid body wash keep me clean and not irritated. I also always use toilet paper after peeing since some will drip out of the cage and stay between my balls and penis.

My hubby actually uses a soft toothbrush (I have been looking for something a little bigger) at the moment as a scrub brush of sorts. He makes sure he gets all the nooks and crannies. He would get that issue a bit early on because of all the precum dripping and sitting on the underside of his penis in the cage. We also have the pull down shower head which aides in cleaning. :)
