Modifications to CB6000s.

Post by LoknMa »

Hey folks I was just curious. I don't have the money right now for a new device and to be honest at the moment I am happy with the CB6000s for its comfort. But as everyone know about the polycarbonate smell I was wondering if anyone has modified it with drilling more small holes around the device to allow more breathing through but not much else. Do you think this might work? I would do it in a fashion so it shouldn't effect the integrity of the device or make the seem split more easily. Any thoughts?

I've not done this but I'm sure I've read about others who have. Popping my engineer head on for a mo I'd say that you are going to alter the structural integrity of the device if you drill holes in it. I would be tempted to drill small holes away from any obvious seams and keep them well spaced. Not sure that holes will make that much difference to the smell problem that a good hygene routine couldn't match.

My other advice would be to check ebay for some decent quality clones which is what I started out in.

I've done it and it works great. Just steer clear of the seams and don't go too big. Use a low speed on the drill and you won't leave any (ouch) inside burrs.

What benefits have you found from doing this?

The primary benefit is that it's easier to keep things clean. A lot of moisture can get trapped in the 6000s but with two holes drilled on the top on either side of the seam it keeps things much drier.

My KH and I like the 6000s because of the sensory deprivation but as a result of the cock being almost completely encased cleanliness can be an issue even though I usually don't go more than 2 days without release (not to orgasm).

This way the sensory deprivation is still there and the hygiene is improved. I'm cleaner at the 4 day mark than I used to be at 2 days.

The holes don't have to be big. You couldn't pass a peppercorn through the ones I drilled.

Thanks for the advice. We like the 6000s for the same reason. I guess I have a project coming up.

It should take all of about 10 minutes.

Yeah, someday I will make the upgrade to steel but it's going to have to be one that covers almost as well as the 6000s. My KH likes me sensitive so when she gives me an orgasm she can get it over with.

Basically any session that's long and pleasurable ends in frustration. Any session that ends in orgasm is incredibly short. I like to think of it as her gift to me.

I think Harry Haversackers did that exact thing..drilling extra holes. He is a member here. Check his blog for this. http://hhaversackers.wordpress.com
