Cleaning plastic cages

Post by Smiff »

I searched the forums for "cleaning" and "shower" to try and find some tips on this subject but had no luck. (Now I only went back through the first 5 pages of search results, so I may have missed the good stuff.)

Sometimes I may be required to give up the loving embrace of my Mature Metal Jailbird and don the Holy Trainer (or maybe even the Birdlocked, despite its concealment problems) to be able to pass through metal detectors for work. I was in that situation for a few days this past week and cleanliness was a problem the whole time.
How I tried to keep it clean - for a starting point on the conversation:
I showered twice daily.
I used a squirt bottle with an angled nozzle (which I think I purchased from keptforher years ago).
I dried with q-tips and a blow dryer.

I did not have a way to insert a cleaning device into the tube (except for the bottle nozzle).

In the morning, I filled the tube to the point that I didn't have access to the full circumference of the tube for cleaning.

I think the problem was that I never got fully dry, which led to "the stink."

For those of you who wear plastic/resin (or those that used to), did you find a routine to keep clean without resorting to daily removal for cleaning?

In all seriousness i don't find it that big an issue. i get to unlock, clean and relock Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and that works for me. OK sometimes i smell a bit more "male" than others, frankly that's how we're meant to smell !!! not like lilac or some other perfume. i wouldn't want to go longer without a clean but it's just not that big an issue. i really don't know what MsM's opinion is but i'd rather She smelt "real" than perfumed and i feel that She would tell me of She had an issue !! and She hasn't !!

Still having difficulty getting back into 24/7/365 chastity since covid. Very tender old man skin under the scrotum damages easily. Trying an HT Mk5 nub now. Love the fact you can’t pull out of it, hope my skin toughens up.

Hubby's enclosed steel device is used very rarely because even one day and it's stinky... not good stinky, not man stinky but stinky and sweaty. So when I do have him in it and want to use him I either take him out and h her showers before play or baby wipes are our friend because he'll wipe off. But no blow jobs unless a shower first. :)

Hi there!

I had the exact same problem with my Birdlocked..... Not plastic but still pretty much a solid tube...

I used a leather hole punch to create HEAPS more channels in that device... Unfortunately, it also weakened the structural integrity to the point I could slip in an entire finger through the slots I had made because I could squish the gaps open really wide!

This made cleaning soooooo much easier, but as for security......

Pity, because the Birdlocked was by far the best device I have used in terms of night wood!!!! Didn't feel a thing!!!

But... I digress. I guess if you're handy with a Dremel I imagine one could create a device that looked a lot like a Ms. Lori's tube (8 or 18 maybe??) but was made out of plastic....

That might look pretty neat!!!! And might open up the tube so cleaning is easier....?

Just a guess from me!

With the absolute kindest regards.

It's not sweaty man smell I was talking about. That's not a big deal. It's the wet skin that never fully dried and stayed enclosed all day smell. That's a whole different ball game. I guess that's just a limitation of enclosed devices, which is disappointing. Getting the keys to take it off daily for cleaning is a hassle that takes some of the fun out of the experience.
Thanks for your input!

This was a downer for me also when I was in my CB6000s for so long.

Now with either my JB or WM it's "set it, and forget it" :D

Hasn't been off since July 15th and absolutely no issues what so ever.
Happily secured since 4/2010 :-)

I'm in a CBcurve. I have no problem cleaning . It's not coming off just for cleaning. So I got a toothbrush and I can slip it into the openings. With a lot of soap, I can scrub the inside surface pretty good. The only area I can't get is near the base of my shaft. The trick is to tug the cage away from the body so that you can get more of the inside of the cage accessible for the brush.
It's good to be caged.

WOW! You have got a lot of room in your cage. Even when I was wearing the CB2000, there's no way I would of been able to get a toothbrush inside; and it was made of bars. When I was wearing the Curve I may have been able to use a toothbrush on about the last 2 inches by pulling back.
FYI my MM cage diameter is 1 1/8".
Current device - MM Custom
Previous devices - CB2000, 3000, 6000, 6000s, Curve

I have used the cb6000 and 6000s, the birdlocked and now a custom modded stainless device that is all enclosed except for the pee hole which I slotted like the cb series. I have been locked for months at a time without issue.
Never had an odor problem and neither has wife and she is an odor freak.
I always use swab-its to wash and dry. They are industrial strength and last around 2 weeks each. Get them on ebay cheap and worth every penny.
