Which one?

My partner and I are considering long-term chastity to help me be more submissive. Neither of us know much about it but I have always had an interest in it, and so i know a little bit about it, but not much. We want a device that can be worn long-term and can also deny orgasm effectively - i know that if i can fiddle, i will. Equally, i don't want to be able to get out of it without the key, or at least, if i can, i don't want to be able to slip back into it without my partner knowing. In addition, a lot of these devices appear to be quite expensive - I'm a student and my partner is on a pretty low wage, so our budget really won't be that big. Could anybody with a bit of knowledge or experience advise us as to what is a good chastity device to meet our needs at a relatively reasonable price?

Please select the model with 3 base rings - 40/45/50 mm
It's cheap and I have had no issues wearing it 24x7 for the last 2 years
Except passing through security gates, I did not find any problem with my cage
It has excellent ventilation, no need to remove for cleaning, does not stink, and is very difficult to escape from
In many posts you will note that plastic cages often split
So I would recommend a steel cage

I'm sure that everyone will have an opinion on this and we'll all think we're right!

My first steps were taken on ebay. There I found a cheap clone that proved the concept, this was a silicone one that was easily beaten. Next step was another cheap ebay one, a metal spiral one that is a lot harder but not impossible to slip out of. There's lots of posts about anti pull out so I'd suggest a quick search. I'm opting for a piercing and a PA device that I bought from another forum member, this should sort pull out.

It's very possible to get locked up cheaply after that the sky is very much the limit!

Choose one you like the look of. After all, you'll be wearing it!

Thanks guys, that's a great help. Also, does anybody have any experience of shaving with a chastity device? My partner likes me to stay clean shaven downstairs... is this even possible wearing a chastity device, or would it have to come off for that? Will wearing it irritate the skin after shaving?

I would suggest shaving and if you're already shaving, great! My hubby can shave with his device on just not as well (and not the shaft) but it's good enough until I'm ready to take him out... then he takes care of a real good shave.

He's got over 6 weeks for that though, right now hehe

I had that one, and gave it away. My skin doesn't like the rings, and the cage is too long so got twisted in all directions when I sat down. End hitting the chair, pushing the top of the ring in my abdomen. I got all kinds of sores from the thing. Shorter has proven to be much better, bars running the length of the cage VS rings even better still. Most comfortable of all has been the Holy Trainer V2 (they now have a new resin that is supposed to be stronger), next the short Bon4M with a modified ring from another device.

You can also get that particular cage he has in a short version for us Growers not showers ,Just make sure its actual steel and not chrome plated steel.

The plastic ones do need more care and you need to clean up more frequently because of your body heat etc.

I would suggest just keep your area trimmed as nothing worse than fresh growing hair and you cant scratch that itch,So get a simple rechargeable beard trimmer or something close to it.

We have the same but shorter cage Linus has on stand by encase my KH decides she wants to play more permanently.

Thanks to everybody for the help. Metal definitely sounds like a good idea as my skin can be sensitive at times, especially if I get sweaty at all. Length really wasn't something that I had really considered before, kind of just assumed that they came in a generic size, which is stupid, I guess, when you think about it... When deciding on a size do you go from your size soft or hard?

Soft. The general idea is to inhibit erections, although I can see some eroticism in being able to get erect but unable to do anything with it.
