Based on my recent experience, stripping the key would be more of a concern than the screw. This wasn't a loctite event though. I had mixed a custom cage from one order with a base ring from another. There was just enough variation that the end of the screw bound up a bit as it extended beyond the post. It went in easily but didn't come out very easily. Both keys I have are now a little bit rounded due to the torque (and likely working angle) to get the screw out. Never thought taking a pair of pliers near my junk would make me laugh.

If you're looking for a thread locker to prevent the screw from loosening, I'd recommend Vibra-tite. It's more of a gum than a bonding agent.

Teflon plumbers tape works good for most screws that need to stay tight. Never used it on a chastity device though.

I have the queens keep with the securty screw and I have not had any issues with it backing out. I like it because it dosn't stick up above the device and you don't here any clicking sounds as you are walking along.

However, you can still take the screw out and use a lock. My wife sometimes uses the lock on the weekends when we arn't going out. Take out the screw, drop in the spikes, hearing the lock click in place. Yea it has a psycological affect.

As much as I like the screw I've been able to unlock myself without the key several times.

Defeats the purpose to me.

My Jailbird has both the screw and the padlock. In the beginning we used the screw all the time. Now we only use the padlock because it is so much easier. I rounded all the corners on the padlock on a bench grinder and that made a world of difference. If I were buying another MM device, it would be padlock only.

our Jail Bird has the screw lock. In the beginning it worked loose a bit, but now Mrs. Lion tightens it a bit more and it hasn't come loose yet. I really like how rigid the cage is with the screw.
