Base ring and cage length

While cage length varies, it seems most people wear a 1 3/4" ring , or within a 1/16" one way or the other. I noticed that my off the shelf 2" ring was letting the whole device hang down a lot, so I am trying a 1 3/4" like most people. It keeps it up closer to the body and less adjusting the sac. I do feel a little pressure and burn around the sides when trying to get aroused. So I'm thinking I need an oval ring when I go custom. So if anyone has an oval ring that is 1 3/4", is that the top to bottom measurement? If it is, what is the side to side measurement?

You may need 1 7/8". I suggest you get a measuring ring set from MM and wear candidates for a week 24/7 to be sure they work correctly.

I think that might help. My anatomy is a little more oval than round. When I'm relaxed, it is comfy. It's just during an erection that I get a little tingle.
