First Time Sizing Questions for Holy Trainer

Post by stirling »

My wife and I have come to the point of having decided that the Holy Trainer looks like the absolute best compromise for an entry level (not custom fit) device. I followed the instructions on measuring for sizing but it's all kind of subjective. I am looking for some answers backed by practical experience.

Following the string measurement method, I determined the diameter of ring needed to be right at 48mm, and I understand that it's probably better in the long run to go down to a 45mm ring because things are going to adjust, and it sounds like the 50mm ring might just be too loose and insecure. Comments or suggestions from those who have purchased a Holy Trainer?

I'm also guessing from all I read that the shorter the tube the better, but i don't want to find our I cant even stuff myself into the tube. I'm leaning toward ordering the small tube just because of all the concerns about a snug fit being necessary to avoid urination issues. Again, veterans, am I on the right track?

Likewise I have no idea about the tube size, but am leaning toward the small one for these reasons: I measured my flacid diameter at 1.35mm, which i got by measuring the circuference in mm and dividing by 3.14. But I think that measurement is on the large size due to the beginning of blood flow as i was measuring. So probably I can fit nicely into the 1,3 mm diameter tube, and it sounds like i would be floating around in the bigger one at 1.4 mm. Does anyone with a midway measurement like that ever have any trouble getting into the smaller tube unless the penis is 100% flacid? I know I can look pretty puny if I have been in cold air or water, so I am guessing that the idea if smaller is better is true here too.

I know these questions have probably been answered before, but we just don't want to spend a couple hundred bucks only to find out that there are fit issues. I am guessing that the manufacturer has a no returns policy due to poor sizing. is this true.

My present conclusion is that I should order the small tube with a 45mm ring. Your experienced advice would be appreciated.

Hi

I have the HT2 small tube and small ring. Started with the midsized ring which their measurement system suggested and it was too big so NZ$100 later to get another ring ....... bugger. I can squeeze myself in even when a bit "swollen" after MsM has had one of Her playtimes but it isn't necessarily easy and does sometimes take some cold water first !! I think you've got your cm and mm mixed in there somewhere as 1.35mm is the size of a pin head lol !!! I'm pretty small when flacid and could even have the tube shorter still BUT under normal circumstances it's fine. The thing with the HT is that the ring is so well designed you can have it smaller than with other standard rings and still have no issues plus I have no idea where they measure it. I think what you're calling 45mm is the standard or mid size and that was certainly way too big for this little fella !! Sorry, that all may not be a great deal of help but if you could get your cm and mm sorted and give revised measurements I "may" be better able to help.

Still having difficulty getting back into 24/7/365 chastity since covid. Very tender old man skin under the scrotum damages easily. Trying an HT Mk5 nub now. Love the fact you can’t pull out of it, hope my skin toughens up.

Hi d,

Yes you are right. I actually measured in inches and then multipled the result by the standard 0.254 inches per cm, then when I wrote the post I just typed mm instead of cm. We Americans are used to thinking in inches, and we get easily confused. Once you have that mindset it's hard to think without needing to convert. We do the same with mph and kph.

My suspicion is that I should go with the smallest of everything. There is plenty of time, so perhaps some other comments will be added. Thank you very much, d!
