Base ring and cage length

I am in a HT version 2.Base ring is 45mm. Cage length is the small one. Internal length of 1.9 in. Very comfortable.

I will be sending this back to shorten cage to 21/2" and add a double base ring as i like a heavier ring. I subtracted 1/2" from the length as suggested but shrink a bit when caged for a longer time

I have both a MM QK and a WM; and although we don't practice chastity that much these days, when I do wear, I wear the WM. The QK was the first (MM) device I bought, and I ordered it with a 1 3/4" base ring with a 2" long cage (1 3/8" diameter cage).

I bought the WM second-hand, and it had just the measurements I was looking for: 1 5/8" base ring, 2" long cage (1 1/4" diameter cage).

If I could justify it, I would send my WM back in to have a 1 1/2" base ring made for it.

There is no way for us to know, or guess. If you are going to graduate school, surely you have the intellectual capability to use a piece of string or ribbon or seamstress' tape measure, make a measurement, then do the math to find the diameter of the circle it would make. How 'huge' (long) you might be is of no consequence to this measurement.

If you are planning on buying a MM device, order their sizing rings and follow their directions. From what I've read, many people have started with a CB-xxxx device, or something similar, where there are interchangeable base rings (and gap spacings). With one of these, you can get a pretty good idea what size combinations work best.

Revision:
The 1 3/4" cage length was too long. I am having my birdcage shortened a full 1/2" to 1 1/4". That seemed very short to me, but based on Mrs. Lion measuring the occasional gap in the 1 3/4" cage, the much shorter cage is right. The base ring is perfect at 1 3/4".

I got an education from Mature Metal. My problem was that my urethra "wandered" . Most of the time, the tip of my penis was up and right. MM said that the cage is too long and that is what happens. The full penis should be in contact with the cage at all times. I think many of us overestimate the size we need.
