Mature Metal revisions

I just got my Jailbird back from MM and thought I'd post some feedback about the revisions they made to my device. Even though I followed the instructions for measuring the device was too long so I had the cage length shortened by .5". I went down a size in the base ring too and got a double ring instead of a single. I also a second locking hole so I can use the security screw and a padlock at the same time.

It took about a week to get the device back after I returned it to MM. The fit is now perfect. I don't even feel it on anymore and have only had it on for a night and a day. The double base ring is awesome for anyone questioning getting one. The only thing I experience now is sometimes the opening to my urethra rubs against my clothing but nothing a little adjustment can't fix. So far the one night I've worn it has been comfortable - definitely better now that the cage is shorter. I did have some early morning erection pain/aching that I'm hoping gets better.

All in all I don't think this device could get more perfect (other than maybe powdercoating or anodizing). Thank you MM!

I had my Jailbird gap increased to the next size larger (from 3/8" to 7/16") and it took care of the problem with pain/aching during the night. You have my interest in the idea of the double ring now. What was the biggest difference you found in switching from the single to double ring?

I'm glad your revisions are feeling good! I'm really leaning on getting cagedmonkey a double ring as well. We will eventually need to send the Queens Keep back for an adjustment (not a measurement thing) so I might get one then.

Its hard to say as I also went down a size in the base ring. That being said, I feel that the double base ring stays in place better and doesnt slide down away from my body. Its also considerably less noticeable and just disappears. It think that is from having a broader contact area with the skin that d isperses the pressure better. However, last night I would get an erection every few hours that would be pretty uncomfortable and keep me awake a while. Im guessing that will get better with time. All in all I would get a double base ring once you are sure of your size.
