As a sub locked in chastity 24/7. It's a game. The humiliation aspect of it is just 1 small part of the lifestyle. It helps me keep going in ways. We don't practice it 24/7 but within reason. When I'm not collared or in sissyrosie roll. I'm just me, although even out of the cage or not, My GF wears the pants (so to say) in our relationship, there's a time and a place and by setting rules to that. We don't over or under play in those rolls.

Tom, I'm not sure what your particular problem is with calling this a lifestyle. I think that for those of us who are caged 24/7, chastity has made huge changes in our lives. It certainly has in mine. I know that some people (probably including you) want to use chastity in a more casual way. That's fine. But the original question is very valid. First of all, excluding the defensive reply you made, consider:

1. There is a power exchange that is either explicit or implied in EVERY chastity relationship. Even in your so-called vanilla one, you are giving your wife power over your penis. Most people consider that *very* kinky.

2. Humiliation is a turn on to many people in and out of the chastity lifestyle. It is perfectly reasonable to ask what place it might have in that lifestyle. I enjoy some humiliation. Is it part of chastity? Well, for me it is. Being locked up is inherently humiliating in many ways. Isn't it? What's so weird about wondering if it has other applications

Most importantly, who are you to tell me and others that this isn't a lifestyle? It is most definitely a lifestyle for those of us who have materially changed our sexual relationships to accommodate it. I don't attack you because you have developed your own approach which to some may be silly.

Repeat after me, "Forced male chastity is a valid lifestyle to many people, and I promise never to post intolerant rants against innocent people who did nothing more than ask an honest question."

I agree that this has changed my life with my husband. Mainly in the bedroom but outside of it as well. I do consider it a lifestyle as he is locked 24/7 for as far as I can see into our future. I appreciate your insight and agree with your statement that life style or not, this is considered kinky to many people. It was kinky to me (in a bad way) up until a few months ago. Now I love it.
I appreciate any and all support I can get as a new key holder. It makes things easier to process in my mind when I don't feel like it is weird or strange.
I also like having a SAFE place to ask questions. Maybe I need to keep looking for that place. I thought it was here.

I believe hiskh has asked a valid question, looking for some insight from members here.

My wife of 24 years and now keyholder for the past 3 years and I have never had the desire to explore any types of humiliation, cuckolding, cross-dressing, sissification, or BDSM. We do though enjoy chastity (not forced) at this stage in our lives and practice it pretty much full time. It has brought a new dimension to our sexual relationship and our life outside of the bedroom.

Definition of Lifestyle: a set of attitudes, habits, or possessions associated with a particular person or group

This is an attitude and habit that this particular person and his wife choose to enjoy.

Sounds like an argument! You are ALL right because we ALL use words and phrases with our own interpretation of them! Vanilla means to me that lovely ice cream that I like licking off my Princess's body! Lifestyle can be the car you drive or the money you have in the bank.
