I am still having problem with my crossfire. As I said, I ordered 93mm length which is maybe a bit too long. I shortened it by adding a spacer like this (not exactly this, but now I do not have the link of the exact version)
http://tinyurl.com/l8rzef5
Now total length is about 75-80mm. It seems that it is more comfortable, even if now I feel much more the pressure on the head of the shaft.
However, during morning erection, it hurts a lot at the base of the tube (where I have the comfort ring installed), because the part of the shaft that stays out of the tube reaches 45mm diameter, and the tube is 38mm, so there is quite a noticeable step. In this point the pressure on the skin is really high and I have to remove the cage. I do not know if my girth when erected is normal or larger than average.
The diameter at the base (when erected of course) is 45mm, exactly at the point where the tube starts, against 38mm diameter of the tube.
What do you think?

No help?
I shortened the cage with the spacer but still unconfortable... I do not know what to do.
I also read this page:
http://denyingthumper.com/chastity-devi ... t-vs-cb6k/
the lenght he talks about is 105mm! I thought mine was far too long (93) but now I am even more confused.
I tried again the cage without spacer, but during morning erection is so strong that I cannot even urinate because the cage squeezes the penis to the point that the urethra is blocked.

Re: still having problems with size, need advice
For me it would be a useful information at least to know from other steelworks owners their shaft diameter at the base and tube diameter. For example mine is: 45-46mm shaft diameter, 38mm tube. When erected there is almost 8mm step at the entrance of the shaft into the tube.
Steelworks owners, please tell me your sizes! At least if there are other owners with same sizes (or comparable difference shaft-tube) that successfully wear the cage, then I would concetrate on other parameters, i.e. lenght, base ring (even if it is 50mm, that is maximum size), curvature etc. Otherwise, if it is a tube diameter problem then I might consider the larger tube which seems a bit too large, but...
Thanks

I will look up our dimensions in millimeters (I only know inches right now) but I'm going to pm you.

Re: still having problems with size, need advice
You probably shouldn't have that much of the shaft *not* in the tube, I think that putting a 'spacer' in the end of the tube is the wrong way to go- it sits the whole thing too low. When you start to get erect there is enough outside that can do so and it becomes a problem.kunst wrote:No help?

Maybe you need a smaller gap between the tube and the base ring. It could be that the size of the base ring needs to be different as well.
As far as peeing with the 'morning wood', you'll just have to do something (focus your mind elsewhere) to reduce your arousal.

If you look for my other posts, you will read that everybody in this forum told me that shorter is better. Now, the spacer would have been the correct solution if the problem was the excessive length.
I don't know, maybe you could be right, but I also tried to attach the base ring to a belt (I have some eyelets soldered to it by Dietmar) to avoid the pull-out problem, but the improvement was not so exciting.
Maybe. We can make whatever assumption, but I cannot solve the problem by random attempts.

I think it is better to concentrate on one problem at one time. I wish I can receive help on this particular problem.
Now, if I take a ring of 45mm diameter (1.75"), this ring matches exactly the girth of my shaft at the base (where it enters the tube) when erected. In fact, the base ring I use must be larger because it must include also the ball sac; therefore I use a 50mm (2") ring.
Now, is my girth compatible with 38mm tube? Is there any other 38mm tube cage user that have the same girth as me? If I get an affirmative reply, then I will concentrate on other problem. For the moment I had no feedback on this.
Look, if the blood flow is constricted, there is nothing that you can do apart from taking the cage off. I can guarantee that when I have morning erections I am in this situation. Sometimes I notice also swelling, this is not good. This happens only during morning wood, never during the day, but this is a problem that I have absolutely to solve.

Not familiar with your device history but is this your first device? If you've had other devices please let us know how they fit. If you've had a properly fitting device what is different to this device? Maybe this would give an idea where to start making changes.
Current device - MM Custom

Sorry if speak frankly, but why I cannot get an answer to my question? I am getting questions instead.
I am just asking what is your girth, or diameter when erected, and what is your tube diameter?
Hope I can get this info...
by the way, I googled and I found studies made by condom manufacturers saying that average circumference is 122mm, i.e. diameter about 38mm. Mine is 144mm, i.e. diameter 45mm. Does it mean that I should have ordered 44mm tube from steelworks?
I am confident I will get some info in this forum...

Re: still having problems with size, need advice
I think I understand your frustration. The problem is, everyone's different and what works for one may be a disaster for another. It's best to know your dimensions and then make suggestions from that.
Admittedly I'm just making educated guesses here because I've never had your type of device.
It would seem to me that part of the problem is the spacer. I would think urinating would be hard when soft with this spacer, let alone hard. If your penis slot isn't directly over one of those small holes, how can urine come out?
When I'm erect in my current device there is a small amount of the head squeezing out around the ends opening. I can urinate when erect with no problem because the slit is almost always aligned between the bars. When I was wearing the CB6000s if the slit wasn't lined up with the tubes slot I couldn't urinate. I would have to use a Q-Tip and line things up.
I would also be uncomfortable when erect. I believe it's was because there was no place for the head to expand. This spacer would seem to create the same problem.
The Crossfire has some opening at the end. With the spacer you're using it looks like your entire penis would be inside (like a Steelheart) and there is no room for expansion. With a totally enclosed device you want to be closer to your normal flaccid dimensions, not smaller. Check with Thumper on this, he's more knowledgeable on this device.
In my opinion it comes down to this, wrong size tube, diameter and length.
