How many cages do you own

Post by Tame Lion »

Based on my reading and chatting with others, many people have more than one CB. I can see getting a better fit. Are there other reasons?

Based on my own personal experience, and the experience of many others on this forum, a lot of people explore male chasity with a lower cost "starter device" (CB6000 or similar), and the serious players that want to continue with long term male chastity upgrade to a higher quality, more expensive device. The issues with lower cost devices that drive so many to upgrade are: device failures (plastic breaking, splitting, etc.), device fit (despite adjustability, one size doesn't fit all), device security (related both to fit, and sturdiness of the device) and hygiene issues associated with long term wear.

i own two devices: a CB6000 and a MM Jailbird, and those are the reasons i upgraded from plastic to metal.
Sincerely,

We started out with the cheaper CB6xs (didn't even fit), then got the cheap metal (Bird Cage), then we went custom (Jail Bird) and we just ordered the Revenge.

The two we will use will be the JB and Revenge one has lots of access and one hardly any... we got the for variety. :)

I have owned many, 9 I think. I currently still have 6. I only ever wear one of them though. I will probably always keep one extra as a backup but really should get rid of the rest of them.

This is just what I want to know. I have at least 7 devices. Most were obtained for review. I bought four recently; all the inexpensive Chinese variety. I got three with urethral plugs and one very small ( which I am wearing now) that is just a cage. The plugs were quite comfortable, but I am concerned about long term wear. The newest cage is for a very small weenie (mine is 2" flaccid) but the cage is actually only about 1.25 inches and so I sort of overflow it. I ordered a MM Jailbird which should be an exact fit. That takes ages to get, so in the meantime I am in the very small cage.

It appears that most of us buy more than one; the main reason being fit and comfort. A close second is "try before you buy"; getting an inexpensive, not-a-great-fit cage to test the male chastity waters. So far one reply not only changed cages for fit, but also likes the variety of different levels of accessibility.

I look forward to reading more replies.

I have four, not counting my first one which was a "homemade".

The CB3000 and CB6000s are collecting dust since my wife won't ever let me wear them again. They served their purpose in getting me acclimated.

I switch between the MM Jail Bird and Watchful Mistress. The JB was the first custom metal but I wear the WM most all the time now. It's a little less open than the JB but my wife truly likes the JB for her access to tease.

Either way it's all good.
Happily secured since 4/2010 :-)

CB 6000 and The Curve

I also have a stainless steel one. It was cheap, bad fit and way too heavy.

I should make that old Poll thread a sticky, since the question seems to come up so often.
