I would think that would probably be ok on the base ring. You could probably get a locking cockring at the same time and put that on when you wanted to have penetration, that should keep any sharp or protruding bits safely out of the way.

I don't know how I missed this the first time. What we have looks very close to the link you posted, however ours is constructed a bit different than the steelworxx. The tube is similar but where it attaches to the base ring, ours has a square post to prevent rotation. The idea of the locking cockring is great though, it would at least make everything round and smooth as opposed to someone getting poked with the post. Now I wonder what it would take to get a locking cockring that works with the existing base ring (because otherwise a whole new cage would be necessary). Hmmmm....

Sorry to resurrect an old post. and a newbie here, created account just to ask this question

I would like to get one of these mesh chain mail devices (new or used). I am having difficulty finding one any more.

MM did a ring with a removable pin, for me too, and it is great. The Pin just slides out from the back of the ring, and no stabbing your Wife / KH . I sent them the entire device ( Pet-Trap ) to make sure everything lined up correctly, and had 2 alignment pins also added to the cage part. I know it's extra work for MM , and I forgot what they charged for the adjustment , but it was well worth it.

That is it! Thank you very much, for some reason lately when i was visiting the site I was unable to find it. I then assumed perhaps it had been discontinued.

Its a bit outside of our price range, I'll post in the swap section I just found and perhaps someone has an used one they do not want anymore.

Again, thank you!
