Hi,
finally I made it. I bought a copper tube 35mm diameter, 5cm long; I also bought a bar, 3mmx15mmx2000mm, bent it, created the base ring and two arcs that close the end of the cage. Then I soldered arcs to the tube, and a bar to the base ring, perpendicular. Then I added some pins to create the lock that holds the cage to the base ring. At the end I have a usable device, and using lead-free solder is should be safe. Copper in fact, as far as I know, is not toxic for the skin.
I wonder why there are no commercial product made by copper; possible because it tends to oxydate.
However, for me it is a start to get used to the device and be sure of measures before buying an expensive steel one.

You are right. Since you can't remove the cage while bathing, the tube remains wet from inside and that is likely to have oxidation. That's why stainless steel is a better option.

I would, if the pictures are hidden to unregistered users.locked4her55 wrote:Congrats on your creation.

Is it possible to share pictures only with forumers?
Re: copper device
Put them in the Member's Lounge. And also put something like "explicit pictures" in the subject line.kunst wrote:I would, if the pictures are hidden to unregistered users.locked4her55 wrote:Congrats on your creation.

Re: copper device
You could also post pictures of the device when you are not in it.

I will put pictures of the devices only. In this case I do not need to flag post as explicit, right?locked4her55 wrote:You could also post pictures of the device when you are not in it.
Thanks

Re: copper device
One reason why nobody else uses copper is that copper does not only oxydate. When in contact with certain acids and humidity, it develops verdigris and this substance is quite poisonous. So I just can warn to use copper parts wherever there is risk of any acids. And in the region we are talking about acids are unavoidable...
