Taking Breaks

I have been thinking a lot lately about taking a break for a while for this exact reason. My problem is figuring out just what a "break" might look like for us. As I see it there are several things going on at once.

1) being locked up - basically fulltime for me

4) control - my wife decides (with limited input from me) all of the above

You bring up a good point; like you, we have certain conventions that we - sort of - stick to. For example, for the last couple of years we've hardly used the device at all; partly this was just a desire to take a break from the device, and partly because I had surgery last year which made it an issue.
