365 Valentine Day's?

I was reading in our Sunday paper an article about what women in an established relationship (over 5 years) would appreciate most for Valentine’s Day. They stated some of the following in no order of preference.

Any show of adoration. Card, flowers, gift, etc.
A body massage with candle light.
A foot massage.
A meal, home-prepared.
Caresses and kisses throughout the day.
No expectation of sex because of the day’s activities.

While reading this I was thinking about our KH’s. This kind of treatment is what the typical KH gets often. I wonder if this is why, after the new KH finds out what it’s all about, they tend to accept this “kink” of ours.
Are we giving them Valentine’s Day 365 days a year?

Look, chastity or not, the whole Valentines thing is a racket. It's a total chick holiday - how often do you see ads for things that women should be doing or buying for men? I've often said - and Mrs. Edge is on board with it - that's it's way more important to be nice to your partner all year, instead of three or four holidays.

That said, I did get her a gift cert to a local massage/spa place. I mean, it's a racket, but I'm hoping that she'll reciprocate next month.

My question was more related to the concept of Valentine’s Day, wooing the one you love, not the commercialization. My point of the post was the extra attention the KH receives daily and many non-KHer’s can crave in their relationship. I don’t deny that both halves of the relationship deserve their showing of love constantly. The problem is with day-to-day living, and we grow comfortable with each other, the attentiveness goes away. From my personal experience I am paying more attention to my KH than I did before chastity. My KH tells me there is a look of “puppy love” at times now that she hasn’t seen for years. This is the way that I think the chastity relationship differs from the conventional.

Well, it's Valentine's day here, and I just got a box of chocolates. That's right, the girl gives the guy a gift here in inscrutable Japan!

But, being a commerce-minded bunch, we have another day in one month, called 'White Day" when the men are supposed to reciprocate.

i knoe it past valentine's day` already but who hates valentine's day and think that there is no point to preserve it as a holiday?
