So I've seen some chatter about devices from dhgate. Some good some bad. My wife had me try the cb6000 again this week went better than last time, but device is still to long (have a s model) but I'm a extreme grower. 2in flaccid to 7in hard.

Based on what I figured out sizing wise I really am thinking about this one

Looks to be the same maker as the a080 that was mentioned as being a good on a few times on here. Yet being one of the only one that's the same girth and a cb6000(which is about right) but being short like I think I need.

If I was positive I could make a device work I think my wife would love me in a stealheart but that's a lot of money to put out on something that may just not work for me.

The main thing I've heard about dhgate is that they are chinese knockoffs which is definitely not that great a thing when you're talking about quality... I've also heard they change some design details (at least I think they do) of certain devices like using square bars rather than round.

You're right it's a lot of money for a device... But the thing is they WILL work for you (well should and based off what you said about cage length I imagine it will) if you measure right. They are custom fit to you and your dimensions (that you send the makers). So being a grower vs a shower doesn't matter. The cages can go really short on some devices, I think mature metal makes the jail bird down to like 1.25 inch long or something.

I don't follow it too close but I would stay away from anything with a urethral insert that wasn't from an extremely reputable company.

As for buying inexpensive devices I say go for it. You might get lucky and find one that is decent quality and a great fit, it has happened. If not the sizing should still be very helpful. I am sure there are exceptions but I don't think most guys can get a perfect fit just from measuring. You need to be in a device for a while so you can see what works and what doesn't. I think the CB series is generally pretty good for this but unfortunately they don't have anything that has a smaller diameter tube, that would be a nice addition to their lineup.

though me and jaysf own two (cheaper) devices one from dhgate another from ebay, we did this merely to try designs out without dropping serious change on one that may not have worked for us.we are using these to test before moving to a metal cage with the sizing we learned. If you are trying for a trial period sure that works fine but in no way do i think any from dhgate should be for permanent use , and as a side note i agree with atone you should definitely not get one with a urethral from a company without being sure they are good quality. I have seen several pictures of urethral's gone bad from regular metal sounds to cb's. This is not to deter from sounding which i find pleasurable. just saying a cheap knock off is not the best thing to be sticking somewhere important. Hope this helps

Agreed. I haven't ordered a custom one yet, but my time in my CB is really helping me figure out measurements and stuff. It gives a good base place to start from. In this case though the OP is saying he's in a CB already that doesn't fit well, so he should have a base for basing the measurements off already.

Well I'm giving it a shot. Size wise its very close to what I would order right now on my best guess. So worst case I figure out sizing. I didnt order it with the insertion

thats good save that for when your prepared with the right measurements for a custom one , maybe test out a decent urethral sound from another good sourse while in chastity (cheaper that way) to see if you like the feel while in a cage?

Fit is goof so far. Had it on for 6 hours last night partially thru some play and seemed fine. Seemed to contain things better than the cb6000. One thing I want to ask jailbird owners since this is pretty similar design wise. When soft I fill this thing and maybe bulge out of the bars a bit. Doesn't bother me, but wasn't sure how much breathing room if any I should have in one of these open cage devices.

Going to sleep with it tonight could be interesting. Never slept well or at all with the cb6000
