How long did it take you to get there . My challenge is i am locked 24/7 into the looker and not sure my Goddess will want to bother with taking the cage off and putting the plug on and off, so I would like to have a view on the effort it will likely take to get to wear the plus 24/7 also..
I don't wear the plug that often. This was my first attempt and really had very little information to go on. I was concerned about having enough room for the fixing and all so I ended up with a device a bit bigger than I needed. What I learned was that if you are going to use the fixing with penis plug you need a bigger diameter tube. The ring at the end of the fixing is pretty small so I really needed the larger 35mm tube to accomodate it. A ring that would fit in the 32mm tube would be too small for me to use. I also allowed some extra length, an extra 10mm. This was a mistake, I should have stayed at the same length or even went shorter by a bit.

It took a couple of days of wearing it for a few hours to get used to it and then the longest I wore it was about 48 hours straight. The main reason I had to stop was that the tube was too long and I would slide back on it a little. The design of the fixing doesn't really allow you to 'push' back up so it really needed to come off. I also didn't like the size of the overall device, seemed like to much of a step backwards to me.

One of these days I am going to send my shorter 35mm tube back to have a removable penis plug made for it. I think not having the fixing will be better. I am going to ask if he can make a plug that is of the same design as the one in the Looker so it will extend past the base ring. Basically a Steelheart Looker. I loved the looks of the Looker when it came out (was wearing a Jailbird at the time) but I don't want to give up the fully enclosed feeling of the Steelheart now.

I have a question for you - How does the removable plug attach to the Looker? Can it be removed while you are wearing it? It appears to be held on by a threaded cap on the outside. That would seem to defeat the purpose (at least one of them).

The insert can't be removed while wearing the cage. The end of the insert is threaded and screws from the inside Into the hole at the end cage which is threaded as well. The circular nut on the outside is used as a locking nut and to make it a bit more ascetically pleasing.

I'm locked in something else at the moment so if you want any pictures let me know.

Well mine ended up being a bit of a disaster, although even as it is its still the best chastity device I have had.

Firstly though I ordered a non removable plug, I ended up with a removable plug, and secondly, even though we discussed the jailbird and tube length, and I understood how he measures, I ended up with the 60mm being total length IE 10mm too short. Moral of the story is make sure you specify things per the way Steelworx does it because I think he simply forgot the discussion, tho the insert was simply a screw up (on his part)

Being the 10mm short is much less of an issue than I would have thought, but the removable plug annoyed me so much (I am fussy and I dont like the knob on the end) that I reached an agreement with steelworx to make a discounted whole new one...Although I have ordered the original order length less a tiny bit (2mm to be exact)...I think the extra 10 will make night time a little more comfortable although its pretty good as it is. So I may be offering a fully sterilised pre loved cage for sale in the near future (let me know if any interested).

The insert has proved to be almost a zero issue and right now its been in me for 2 weeks and I dont even feel it there most of the time...it did take a week or so to get used to it though. But for the first time since I began with chastity I feel completely, securely and more importantly comfortably locked up...

I do love the integrated lock...although I am pretty sure you could stick a screw driver under the brass tab and break it to get the cage off if you wanted to, of course in trying it you would break the lock mechanism. There is a chance that you could not break it or move it far enough down to remove the lock mechanism in which case you might be locked forever..lol...one could dremyle the tag out if you had enough time without destroying the cage, which is at least comforting as the key and lock insert looks standard and orderable seperately. An improvement in design would be for the brass tab to disappear beneath some stainless steel so you could not get to the tab..but its fine as it is...I wont be trying to break it.

Sorry it was such a disaster. Even though I never had a problem with the multiple devices I ordered from him I was always worried, especially with the communications barrier. There are two things I did, which may or may not have helped. First, I didn't ask a lot of questions. I would figure out as much as I could and then ask very specific questions. I would also keep each question separate to the extent possible (to avoid the dreaded "yes" answer to a multiple part question). Second, I sent a detailed email with exactly what I wanted when I placed the order. I made sure to put all the options, lengths, diameters, etc.. If there was anything special I tried to be very clear what I was expecting. I also tried to be sure to use the simplest language possible to adequately describe what I wanted to minimize something getting confused in translation. Oh, there was a third thing, try not to make any changes once you place the order. I had to make a change on one order and I had no confidence it was going to be correct until it arrived and I could look at it. In my case it was correct (possibly due to 1 and 2 above) but I was worried.

I agree about the integrated lock, it looks like it would be pretty easy to break that tab off and / or grind it down. I have thought about adding a stainless steel hood to cover it but not really necessary, it would be easier for me to access the emergency key so not much point. I have a spare lock from steelworxs but it was pretty expensive, I think about $35 but not sure. I did find them on the open market but only in Germany and they were pretty expensive there too especially after adding shipping and dealing with customs etc...

I agree, I tend to be too verbose, which is why I took some of the responsbility for the length error, he of course agreed to fix the insert for free but that also meant I would be waiting for it for another very long time...so we reached a compromise for a new device.

Right now the current one has been on for extended periods of time and I have to admit I really do like it...a bit too much.

Hi, Im also just about to order a steelworxx Looker 2, and I want to ask for some advice about fitting. I have read this and some other helpful threads … Steelworxx delivery?, Steelworxx Looker 2 Impressions, Looker 01/02: size vs comfort, Looker 02.... Anatomical or not to anatomical??? - Thanks for posting!

I'm currently in a JB, cage length 2 ½ , cage diameter 1 3/8, base ring 1 7/8 and gap 3/8 (in mm: 63.5 x 35 x 47.6 x 0.95). It fits very well, I have gone down in base ring size from 2 inch and think I'm ready to go down one size more. I think I have decided on the overall length being 10 mm (~ 3/8) shorter then my current JB. According to steelworxx way of measuring my JB overall length is 85 mm (~3 3/8). I'm always in contact in front, except when shriveled up. I think I can go shorter In a looker because of the cap preventing chafing and pinching the foreskin (I'm uncut and sticking out the front in my current JB chafes a bit, although I have gotten quite used to that). The base ring needs to be smaller than my current one, going for 46 mm maybe 45 mm, or both...

I'm uncertain about the cage (penis ring) diameter, there is some space in my current JB and the front ring could have been one size smaller, the design of the looker appears a bit more tapered towards the front than the JB which may help with a tighter fit? I know now that the JB could have been customized with a smaller sized ring in the front, but that did just not appear to me when ordering it. The bar configuration of the JB with smaller diameter bars (compared to the rings) makes for some extra space in the JB and allows me to get quite hard, I retrospect I might have tried going for a tighter fit, although the ring at the base of the penis shaft has a snug fit. For the looker I want to go with a tight fit but 30mm sounds like it might be too tight, maybe it will stifle any erection and not be too painful. Any advice on going for a really tight fit with a looker? Does the urethral tube require more space? Do you think Dietmar will customize the penis ring size? 32.5 mm might be ideal for me :)

wantshiny – how is your experience with going for the 35mm cage? I understand you had about the same thoughts as I'm having now? Is it to wide? Did the urethral tube make up for the access space? Did you ask Dietmar for customizing the cage diameter?
