Airport Security Devices

Post by jennyuk7 »

As a total newcomer I feel the need to ask a question to save me becoming embarrassed at airport security checks. No doubt this subject will have been asked many times

I have just ordered a CBT3K and currently awaiting delivery. I use airports a lot in my business and I am concerned that if I am wearing the device with a standard padlock is it going to set off the alarms when I go through security checks??

If so is there a way around this

Use the numbered plastic 'locks' instead.

You'll definitely want to either take it off or use the plastic locks. Supposedly in the US the TSA is removing those ultra-high res scanners that produce the like crystal clear image of a naked body. With those I could definitely see an issue of wearing the cage. Now they are keeping the other scanners that produce a lower res image, and those may still cause some problems.
