Measuring for my first device

Post by newb_chaste »

Hello!

Myself and my partner have finally decided to take the plunge and get started on chastity play. However I'm not really sure what the best device for me is (or even if I am measuring correctly)!

My measurements are as follows:

Length (from tip to base of shaft by balls) - 4.5 inches (although this can be a little more or a little less depending on the temperature obviously)
Length (from tip to base of shaft near stomach) - 5 inches

I assume that when measuring I should measure from the tip to my balls but I have provided both just in case I am wrong.

Girth - about 2 inches

I really like the look of the CB6000 but I'm worried that it's going to be a little small. I obviously want a snug fit but I want it to be comfortable as well. Would the spacers provided with the CB6000 provide a comfortable (and secure) fit or would I be able to slip out easily?

I don't really like the look of the Curve as the longer air vents in the side look like they could cause a lot of pinching - does anyone else find this is an issue? The other obvious thing which puts me off the Curve is ease of concealment under clothing.

I also don't think my budget will stretch to a Lori tube either unfortunately - unless anyone knows anywhere in the UK where it is a reasonable price?

I'm uncut as well so I am aware that this makes a difference to what device I should get.

Any advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

You didn't mention whether you were measuring erect or not erect. Most of the custom metal sites will recommend a tube plus ring combination that's equal to your non-erect length, as measured along the top of your shaft from pubic bone to tip.

The shorter tubes (of proper diameter) are better in that they sort of curb erections before they become uncomfortable.

The CB devices are a great way to start--the rings and spacers will let you learn what size range you need to be looking for. If you are a grower and currently measuring erect, then actually the CB6000S might be what you need.

Some men can escape devices, while others can't do so. The anatomy is rather variable.

Thanks for the reply.

The measurements I gave was for when I am flaccid so I was a little concerned that the standard CB6k might be a little small. However if the spacers give adequate extra space then I reckon I will go for that one as a starting device.

Thanks again for the advice!

The spacers mainly control the gap between the base ring and the cage, which needs to be adjusted depending on the size of the base ring and your nuts. They don't give you much in the way of 'extra room' in the cage. You might need something that is a little larger.

Also, remember that there is more than one "flaccid". If it was easy to measure and get right then there wouldn't be so many threads about measuring and getting it right :)

When I am out of the device and "flaccid" I am usually between 3 and 4 inches. If I get in a cold shower it is much less than that. My every day wear is a 57mm long tube (about 2 1/4") and is a near perfect fit. YMMV.
