Looking for a new cage

Alright, I'm sure there are a hundred pages like this, and this is just my first... Hour, I think, On this site, but still... here I go:

Me and my boyfriend (I am a male, we're gay, just getting that out of the way real quick) are rather fond of Chastity play, but I have an issue with my current cage, the CB6000.

I masturbate a lot, so we're looking for a cage that'll prevent me from doing that (And by proxy, everything else should work fine, but that's the actual goal)

When I'm completely soft, my dick is maybe an inch, and that's still being generous, but when I'm hard, I'm almost 6 inches. An issue we found is, when I was in the cage, that my head would press against the curve, right at the base of the cage, and get stuck there when I got hard. This resulted in uncomfortable tugging at my balls, and while I was under the impression that that was, to a degree, the goal, it ended up rubbing the underside so bad, that I couldn't sit straight, when wearing it for less than a week.

I have been told that adding Lube would eliminate the issue with my head getting stuck, but I found that, when it dried, it made it even stickier, and furthered the problem.

I will admit that this first cage was more of an impulse buy (Yes, I should get beaten for not doing my research), but after doing a lot of research, I have found myself back at square one. My old cage has split in half (Which I have heard is a common problem with cb6K), and I don't even want to really touch it again after all the problems out there.

Money is a bit tight, though I do have enough 'fun money' saved up to purchase a new cage, but I do NOT want to buy a cage, only for me not to use it.

through my research, I have found:

The CB series, which is the one I have started with. We were previously unaware of the 6kS, which, due to not having as long of a 'shaft' tube, might fit me better, since its almost just the head, but after the issues I've had with my old cage, and the fact that it would still be prone to splitting and pinching, I'm not sure I want to subject myself to that.

BON4: This one looked really appealing at first, but after some research, I found a lot of complaints about the design making it hard to hide in anything but jeans, and even then, it has a VERY heavy bulge, the lack of size rings causing issues with getting 'just the right fit', and as well, the large ring causes injuries from rubbing, and a rough inner edge (though the inside could be smoothed out, I've read, its not the point), as well as prone to other injuries as well.

Birdlock: I've found that despite it being one solid piece of silicone, it is surprisngly fragile, and due to how difficult it is to put on, makes breaking it very likely. I also found issues involving heavy rubbing causing issues as well. I also read about some very... Unsavory tactics against BON4, which makes me wonder if they're truly trustworthy.

I have stayed away from metal cages, simply because I worry about it causing issues.

Further insight into any of these devices would be much appreciated, or even information about other devices (These 3 seem to be "The big ones" so those are the ones I kept my searches to).

So... I suppose that's all I can say for right now, if questions need to be asked, I'll gladly answer, but thats all I can say for now.

Your issue with the lube drying can be mitigated by using different lube. I use baby/mineral oil inside, some people say that promotes bacterial growth and odor but with a daily shower and thorough cleaning it isn't a problem for me. Some others seem to have used silicone lube very successfully. And if you keep a small amount with you, you can re-apply if needed.

I have/had the same problems you described when using the cb6ks, I even used the ksd to attempt to keep myself inside far enough so as not to slide back to the curve area. when I finally went to the jailbird (mature metal) I never had any problems anymore (except for ordering a device too small in diameter (which I later made into a double cock ring)). As small as the length of the one I did order I am saving up to purchase a newer device about a half inch shorter than the already small device I currently have. I would venture a guess that my current device is about a good third shorter than the 6ks, like you I'm a grower from very small to about 6 inches.
